      I signed a contract with Budget Blinds on or about 6/2/22 to order plantation shutters for my home, and put down a deposit of $7,800. On 9/1/22, an installation crew arrived and spent the better part of the day installing product. Two of the shutters did not physically fit the designated windows; the installers told me it was due either to measuring error on the part of the salesperson, or a manufacturing error. As they finished their work that day, also I noticed that two adjacent windows of the exact same size had shutters which were configured differently from each other. This is especially problematic because both windows are on the front of the house, facing the street. The fact that they are configured differently from each other when compared is visually obvious, is an eyesore, and is not acceptable to me. The sales person came out to my home on 9/3/22 to meet and try to sort out what had gone wrong. She was apologetic and reassured me that all would be made right. She asked for a couple days to consult with her team and promised me a call back with a resolution plan early the following week. On Friday afternoon of the following week (9/10/22) when I had not heard from her all week, I called the office to asked to speak with a manager. I was told nobody was available to help but, rest assured, my call would be returned promptly the following business day (9/12). Nobody called on the 12th. I called again on the 13th, spoke with someone identifying as the office manager, who listened carefully, presumably took notes, and assured me I'd be called back that evening or the following morning. Once again, having received no call again last night or today, my faith in this company to resolve these problems is quickly fading.We all make mistakes. I don't have a problem with the fact that mistakes were made. I do have a big problem with nobody taking responsibility or communicating with me what they will do to make things right.

Which makes it even more unfortunate that you posted this to the BBB. ****, we are A+ rated with the BBB, the best-rated window treatment company in the Pikes Peak Region, voted by our customers Best of the Springs years in a row and are best-of-class in Budget Blinds nationwide, a network of over ***** locations. Our local team is committed to providing best in class solutions every single day. Your reactive response to us asking for a week to come up with a panel configuration solution on shutters leaves me at a loss for words. You and/or **** posted negative online reviews and comments including putting angry-face emojis on multiple pictures and ads we have posted to our ******** page. This kind of behavior does not represent the normal Budget Blinds customer.

      To address your specific concern about timing and responsiveness, you and **** knew that your consultant was on vacation that week. She came to your home the first day of her vacation (a Saturday) to discuss options, and then requested time to work a solution. Our goal was to insure you were pleased with the final results, of course at no expense to you. Regarding the manufacturers error, we processed the remake on those shutters ASAP and air-freighted them here to Colorado to insure the quickest possible service for you.

      We have a signed contract that details this. Upon her return from vacation, your consultant called and left **** a voice mail and sent two emails. Yet you did not reply to her and instead called the office directly and berated them. I respectfully ask that you remove this complaint from the BBB website by contacting *********************, Dispute Resolution Specialist at the BBB at ************.
