Our heating and cooling system in our brand new home has had nothing but problems since we moved in 3.5 years ago. Now it looks like the upstairs furnace has failed again. I have pages and pages of repairs and visits to my home by this company, and they never seem to fix anything permanently. Our vents in some of the rooms barely have any flow and there are extreme hot and cold spots all over the home. The system they installed was undersized and inadequate for the size of home its installed in. It was obviously not installed properly and should not have the number of problems we've had in 3 years. Just to name a few problems, we've had vent/trunk lines become detached in the attic, failed A/C condensers, malfunctioning thermostats, freon fluid leak for months, entire months in multiple hot ******* with no A/C, and no heating for many days in the cold winter, IN A BRAND NEW HOME! This company does not stand behind their workmanship because they know they are poor quality and sub-par compared to many others. Some of the downstairs vent lines are so smashed up from the install they have very little air flow. I was told by one of their technicians on the 12 visits they've made that there was nothing they could do about it. They refuse to service their equipment after their 1 year warranty is up and do not honor even existing/installation problems that have been documented. I've never seen such poor quality work and customer service in a new home, and I've owned a few now. The upstairs furnace was not installed properly and the filter is barely accessible due to the placement of the furnace. The downstairs furnace was also installed in a sub par manor and will need to be completely moved if the basement is ever to be finished due to the way it was placed and the way they ran the A/C lines. Upon receiving this list of concerns we have immediately reached out to the homebuilder to open up a new work order to hopefully allow us to visit the home and do our best with the backing to homebuilder to explain,correct and discuss any and all concerns until we can reach a mutual understanding and agreement on the concerns of the homeowner. According to our notes all concerns had been addressed. Our last visit to the home was in 11-4-2019. We currently are in process of attempting to schedule this appointment with the homeowner.
I would request that they have available all invoicing and recommendations from third party inspections available for us to review together as we work through their concerns, I feel its worth noting that some of the items are at the homebuilders discretion and will need approved by the homebuilder if changes are to be made
