they are dishonest and should be shut down.They told me they could fix and then said they could not and charged me more than they cost.They harrassed me-so I ended up paying to get ride of them. NEVER ever had such a bad experience with a company.Review from ralph w

Their repair service was basically just a scam. I sent photos and a pretty thorough description of the quite straightforward issue. They said they could fix it, though it was a little spendy. After weeks of nothing, they said no, it was unfixable and in "good faith" (ha) they would return my money. Except they kept half of it.IMO, they should have known it was unfixable before asking me to send it in.Review from Seth O

Attempted to purchase a **************************** 6201 Infusion pump on November 10, 2023. We paid $668.40 for it. We waited and waited for it and received nothing. Then all if a sudden on December 5th we get an email saying they cancelled our order saying the refurbished pump wasn't working. They said the would refund is the money. They did not refund us the money. Now we are 6 months later and still no refund. They don't answer their phone, it says you need a 3 digit code, which no one gave us and they won't tell us I've guys email. I finally got a reply via email when I told them it credit card company is disputing the charge that was paid but never refunded. But all they said was they refunded it and check with your bank, which I already had and told them I had. Then when I asked if there was someone I could talk to about the matter they said no. Then when I asked for documentation of a refund they have not replied back. I believe this "Company" is nothing but a scam.Review from Peter K

This company advertises a no risk evaluation for repair of electronics. In fact their no risk evaluation is an $89.00 expense. It is my opinion that they simply accept your item for repair and without a through evaluation quote you a price either in excess or near the cost of a new product. I find it interesting that they can provide me with multiple photos of my device as it was received, but not a single photo of the evaluation process showing that they actually opened the unit and examined its interior. Their repair cost is nearly the cost of a new unit which comes with a 2 year warranty, not the 30 days warranty they are offering for their repair. It is interesting that their detailed examination of my unit provided little information regarding the actual problem and includes the clause which states "However, its important to understand that this initial assessment may not illustrate the exact cause(s) of failure. As we delve deeper into the repair process, we often uncover more precise details regarding the root cause of the failure youre experiencing." So if you proceed with repair, you can expect it is likely you will see an increase in your quoted cost. Their detailed evaluation provides little detail and their statement insinuates a potential increase in the cost of their quote. I assume their technicians can't determine if a capacitor, resistor or diode is faulty. I question whether they even opened my unit. When asked to provide some documentation that they actually did some evaluation other that turning the unit on and seeing that it did not work, they did not acknowledge my questions or provide any documentation.Review from Josef T

This company is holding a unique and valueable Spectrum Analyzer hostage, which I did send for repair. Unable to repair they send me an invoice for diagnostic which I try to settle via credit card, unaware that they do not accept this fairly common form of payment. I offered to pay a surcharge or settle via PayPal to get my unit back but they di d not accept either. Since I am with a multinational company I had to go through our accounting department to have Acme Revival setup as a new vendor. Well, we did not receive the necessary information from them in order to fullfill our compliance for a new vendors. Meantime the ~$50 diagnostic fee escalated to $4,413.38 due to 'storgage' charges. BTW, I just looked at my new outstanding balance on their website and come to find out, they are now accepting credit cards;).Review from Tom b

I sent a power converter in to be repaired, they promised 1 week turn around after I paid the repair cost, it was 3 months before they sent the unit back saying they could not repair it and would give a full refund less the $89 diagnostic fee.I have sent countless emails and I have been waiting additional months and still no refund.I would not deal with this company again if my Life depended on it.Review from Thom D

Just wanted to make sure *******'s services today over live chat don't go unnoticed. He stayed with me over 20 minutes as I talked to *** on the phone about where they delivered my package. He was more patient and kind than he had to be.Review from Tim O

I ordered 3 vacuum pumps from Acme Revival. We had a hot project-so I called and spoke directly to a sales representative. I told him of our time pressure and was assured that they had the product in stock and ready to ship. They said they had (7). I order (3). In our current post pandemic shut down economy I am expecting delays and I understand that supply chain issues exist. Pre-checking inventory is so important when purchasing in today's environment. Good communication is always the best path when problem a occurs. In our experience and fundamentally due to their limited ALL on-line support capabilities, Acme revival is not set up to provide good communications. Acme cannot escalate a service request. Please see the quote from the service team to me in response my request to be escalated: "Acme Revival is an online platform. Unfortunately, we do not operate on a call system here". This means they will not call handle a problem-only on-line chat!I attempted to escalate when it was apparent that our purchase was not their priority. Acme is in our view is only capable of "best effort" support. If they have it and have not made an inventory mistake-you might make out ok. If anything goes wrong expect weeks of delay with no support or escalation to resolve your problem. I am very thankful that the sales process broke down because we have zero confidence in Acme Revival being able to resolve an engineering issue with a pump they sold. In summary they held our money for ~6 weeks- sent one pump of three- three weeks late and then cancelled our other two pumps when I requested an escalation to discuss options. NO option were given- in what is a first in my 45 year engineering career-THEY RETALIATED AGAINST AN ESACALTION-TO DISCUSS OPTIONS! Harmful to our project-Yes! Vicious support team-Yes! 100 satisfied-NOT EVEN CLOSE! Oh, and if you have a problem and do not find out within 14 days. Your completely out of luck. Refund summitted!Review from Elisa G

Not typically one to write reviews, but they went above and beyond on recent repairs made to my sewing machine. The machine arrived back to me looking like the day I bought it. If you are looking for someone to perform repair on your sewing appliance I highly recommend this outfit!
