If it were possible to select stars on the negative side of the scale I would max out the meter. I was referred to the Conifer location off of hwy 285 after my service dog (who is paralyzed due to someone shooting her with a .22 rifle while on duty) accidentally burned herself severely by laying next to a heater in an area below her point of paralysis. They denied service because I refused to have her spayed due to complications involving her paralysis. Specifically my home vet has stated that the operation is a high risk for her and is likely to severely complicate her existing urinary issues. She is unable to urinate on her own and has to have her bladder expressed manually several times a day and this has been routine for over 4 years now. Despite pleading with the extremely rude and unprofessional receptionist and explaining the complicity of the situation she refused to provide a simple, potentially life saving procedure without also requiring an unnecessary and very risky procedure to which I would not consent. After mentioning turning them in to the ******** she called the police on me and had me trespassed from the property without returning the paperwork I filled out containing my personal information, which I no longer consent to having in the company's possession. I would like to see a serious change in policy and direction for this business. We need our Vets, and they have a hard enough job already without TERRIBLE practices such as this one bringing the profession into disrepute. There have been numerous complaints against this practice, many of which have resulted in the death of a dearly beloved soul shortly after visiting the practice. I and others would like to speak out clearly against the unevidenced, unethical, and unconventional treatment received by both the guardians, and the patients who enter this Veterinary practice. Dr ***** you should be ashamed. FIX IT! or turn it over to someone else who will!X *************

Our policy is our policy. We are a non-profit and work with groups and people from all over who understand why we require spay/neuter.. This gentleman can go to any vet and and says he has a regular vet and he should use him..We had to call the police to get him to leave..You cant help someone who does not want to be helped..

Planned Pethood is amazing! I will admit trying to get them on the phone can serve as difficult but they make up for that it the services they offer. I had an unfortunate incident with my puppy and he was hospitalized for a few nights. I didn't think I would ever be able to afford the bill, but Planned Pethood has always been affordable with quality care. I can't thank them enough for saving my pup!

I took my mini dachshund in to Planned Pethood International because she was very sick with what I thought was a tooth infection. The very rude front desk staff told me that no one could see her that day and that they would keep her overnight on fluids. Then they gave me an estimate of over **** dollars for her treatment, then they gave me a list of people that would help me with financing. That list had one person whom I called and the lady told me she would donate ***** only and would call them and let them know. The rest of the list besides Care Credit and Scratch Pay were just money scammers and I lost my bank account because I was scared for my fur baby. I told the staff that she had never been alone. They said they would take care of it. I left thinking she would be in great hands because they had a TV show and they seemed so caring. The next day the front desk called and told me I could come and get her at 5oclock. I went in at 5 o'clock and waited for an hour and a half. They brought her out to me shaking and scared out of her mind. They told me she had an infection but it wasn't her teeth. They told me she had severe heart disease and they wouldn't put her to sleep for a dental cleaning. I did not ask for a tooth cleaning. They said nothing else to me and when I asked to talk to the Dr that worked with her. The staff told me the Dr was in surgery and would call afterwards. I called every day for 3 days and nothing. The heart meds that were well over 150 dollars made my dog sick so I stopped them. She thrived after her infection that I still had no idea where it was. She got sick again and I honestly thought I was going to have to put her down. I took her to a different vet and 2 of the Drs said her heart is fine. I am so furious that for the last 2 months thought she was dying. This whole practice is a sham. They act on TV like indegent people deserve care to. Stay away from them. Your pet will not come back the same if not more sick than when they went in
