Alert

In December 2021, BBB Serving New Mexico and Southwest Colorado investigated Wynn Bernese Mountain Pups business practices. This investigation was prompted by inquiries and complaints received.

Consumers have alleged the following through BBB complaints:
- Date of transaction October 28, 2021 The business agreed to provide a dog via their shipping company of choice. They failed to provide the dog and failed to give a full refund. The cost was $830 They did not try to resolve the situation, but kept asking for more money.
- On 11/1/21 I purchased a 13 wk old Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from Jesse C*****. Legitimate looking documents were provided, however, the puppy was never delivered. There is a much bigger scam going on here as they have a shipping company involved to make everything look legitimate. I have enclosed a file that includes information regarding their website, their shipping and puppy guarantee. I want my $925.00 back for seller not delivering on goods promised.
- Communicated with the company to purchase a 13 week old male Bernese mountain dog puppy named Max. Paid $830 via Zelle to Tiffany B******* which cleared on November 16, 2021 for the puppy and transportation of the puppy. A signed Bill of Sale and Ownership of the puppy was completed on November 13, 2021. Delivery of the puppy was supposed to be November 22, 2021 pick up at Newark Airport. On day of delivery (11/22/2021) I was contacted by supposed shipping company (Global Express Shipping which I find out does not exist) and am told they have the puppy ready for delivery and I am required to pay an additional $799 to cover interstate insurance for the puppy before it can be released for transport. I call Wynn Bernese mountain Puppy and tell them that they never made me aware of this and I refuse to pay the additional fee. They said the fee is fully refundable upon delivery of the puppy. I said then they can pay it and get refunded and I feel like I am being scammed. They said I signed ownership of the puppy and will now face animal cruelty charges for leaving the puppy at the airport. I said, again, I do not believe there is an actual puppy and I am being extorted. I reported this to the fraud department at Zelle on 11/22/2021 and have not heard anything else about the puppy. I believe there never was a puppy. I would like a refund of the $830.
