Approximately at the beginning of November of 2022 I gave my vehicle to ***************** who is the owner of Los Amigos Tire&Autorepair with $500 as an advance for parts. ***************** assured me he was going to be able to do a few repairs my vehicle needed and he also assured me to trust him because he was able to find parts that were economic After I confided my vehicle to ******************* kept a log of the times I have called, texted and visited his shop because it was imperative for me to have updates regarding my vehicle reparations. ***************** was taking too long to do the repair. He kept telling me excuse after another. I tried at one point to retrieve my vehicle because I found his behavior very unprofessional but I couldn't because he had the car with the parts that needed to be repaired already taken. My vehicle was practically undrivable After my continuous insistence he finally had the work completed. When I tried to pick up my vehicle ***************** showed me an amount that was inconsistent from when we spoke initially. Still the amount is higher from his initial quotation. I was expecting a different amount plus I have called dealers carrying the parts he needed for the repair and they have it in stock at a lower price. I have spoken with ***************** to make a different deal. I have a promissory note where I compromise myself to pay in full in two weeks no longer than three weeks. The promissory note would have my vehicle as a collateral just to give him the assurance that he will get paid. Your organization should know that I am a single mother. I need my vehicle not only to run regular errands but also to commute to work. I have a daughter I need to take care of and I have already missed many appointments because ***************** is keeping my vehicle in his shop. ***************** was advised regarding my intents to communicate with your organizations to get into an agreement. He is completely aware and on my last intent to communicate with him he denied to provide his last name I am writing to your organization because I am in need of a negotiation that satisfy him as a business and myself as a customer. The promissory note is a powerful legal document there is no reason he should not be able to accept it specially since I have been condescending with the way he managed this situation and how disrespectful he presents himself from the time he took my vehicle giving me a different estimate to the moment when I was presented with an overcharged final receipt. How long he took to finish the repair which was way too long and the patience I have to get because he already had my car dissemble.I have to stress I am a single mother. I need my vehicle to commute to work. Without a proper agreement ***************** wont be able to get paid and is for his convenience that we get into an agreement.I appreciate your promptness. I look forward to hear from you asap
