He took money from me on a brake job and ghosted me when they fail to work properly.Took 250 cash from my friend to go get parts and never arrived.Business response

I did his brakes over a month ago an has had no issues with the brakes up until about a week ago so that means its a new issue or a part malfunction which he brought his own parts so in order to warranty the parts he would have to do so With all that said we are responsible to fix his vehicle nor do we have to fix it again im willing to diagnose the issue for $50 nonrefundable an can discuss the cost of fixing the issue again after the diagnosis an due to technical difficulties are phones were down an had no way of receiving the text message or any other form of communication this gentleman may have tried to contact us an apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused

i hired him to:-Run diagnostics on a newer land cruiser.-Drain a fuel tank in an older, **** landcruiser and change the batteries. He did not change the batteries in the **** land cruiser The fuel gauge still reads 3/4 full.He put one of the batteries for the older landcruiser in the newer landcruiser. He said the newer landcruiser just needed the new batter and it runs fine. However, the newer land cruiser does not start (doesn't even turnover) with the new batter installed. Also much of the battery bracket hardware is now missing for both trucks. I paid him $160 for the job, when in fact not a single thing i asked him to do got done. I would like my money back and for him to replace the missing battery bracket hardware.Business response

First off the newer land rover does start an turn over an runs just fine an the older one i did drain the diesel out im still trying to get rid of the fuel properly an there was only 1 battery so put it in the newer vehicle an the bolt for the older one battery hold downs at on the hood are just to the right of the batteries by the windshield an had to wait 2 days for payment an offered to come back an change the batteries an stuff when he got them an what ever else he needed done i will gladly come out an do that an show him how to start the new one since apparently he doesn't know how to
