Bathroom remodel work - work started in 2022 and in conversations in 2023 with Contractor to finish remaining work and rectify issues with floor tile. Paid contractor final installment on 7/22/22 in the amount of $2712.00 with a notation "pending shower seat install." After months of contractor not responding or taking our calls, we spoke to him in 2023. He was to come back out and complete the shower seat install that we had already paid him for. As of 3/4/24, he took our money and did not complete the work. In addition, we had to hire a new company to come in and redo all of the floor tile work. Eric did not appropriately lay our bathroom tile resulting in tiles moving and grout cracking. The new company advised that our contractor (Eric Stimpfl) had incorrectly laid the tile and the new company had to remove all tile and do both floors completely to rectify the issues that Eric created. Desired settlement: We want a refund for final check paid in the amount of $2712.00 to rectify not completing the shower seat install and tile work that had to entirely redone.
