    Pattern of Complaint:

On November 18, 2021, Better Business Bureau recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding customer service and product issues with a business operating as DigitalNomad.Com. Consumers allege false advertising, issues with the product not working as intended or requiring the consumer to use additional outside features that were not initially disclosed, and they might not have access to. Consumers are also stating they have issues getting refunds.

BBB notified DigitalNomad.Com of the complaint pattern. As of December 10, 2021, DigitalNomad.Com has not responded to BBB's request to address the complaint pattern.

I noticed that you have accessed the course material, but that you've told your credit card company that the transaction was unauthorized? Was this a mistake? if you simply forgot what the charge was for, please let your bank know that you authorized the transaction. I know sometimes I forget what a transaction is on my CC statement, no big deal. Please know that it's company policy to send fraudulent disputes to a collections agency, so if it was a mistake, it's best just to let your CC company know now to avoid any unintended impact on your credit.Otherwise, we'll be sending this charge to collections and our lawyers within 48 hours and will be submitting evidence of fraud to the credit card company along with your IP address and intake form.If it's something else, please reply to this email and let me know. I purchased a training program through a webinar. Unfortunately, the webinar doesn't even begin to tell you all of the information you need to make an informed decision on the product. I decided to give it a shot ($1500)because the webinar made it sound like you would use AI to generate content and you would get paid for views. This isn't it at all. It was a cleverly disguised affiliate marketing course when nowhere in the webinar did it disclose this was affiliate marketing. On top of this, they charged me for an upsell I never agreed to (which was 300 additional dollars). So I said, " Hey, this is false advertising, and you charged me for something I never agreed to purchase. The response I received was simple: we don't offer refunds for any reason. So they refused to refund me for something I didn't agree to purchase, and as I'm sure we all know, nobody is liable for things they didn't agree to purchase. So I am trying to decide if I should try and take them to court for false advertising and charging me for an upsell I didn't agree to.
