There have been 3 complaints filed about this online fraudulent business based out of ******, **. The website is: shorthair kittens.com. Cell phone is: ************.I was so close to getting scammed for a large sum of money through VENMO. The transactions would not go throughthank goodness. I asked so many questions and I have a detailed text conversation with them pertaining to a fraudulent purchase of a British Long Haired cat named ******. I paid in full for a pure breed shorthair kitten and have since been defrauded out of almost $4000 after dealing with this so-called breeder and his "delivery service" (Global Shipping Carrier). The cat was paid in full for on December 10th, 2022 (total of $1200 to the breeder directly). Since claiming he shipped my cat, I have only been met with requests for additional money at each stop of the delivery process beginning on 12/16/22 with ********************** (with whom he has direct contact with).On 12/16/22, ********************** and the breeder told me I need to pay them $2000 for a special carrier and said the cat would die or get sick without it and I could be held responsible. They said in writing (email) that the money if fully refundable upon delivery of the cat. Then, after that was paid, on 12/18, they said I needed to buy insurance for $1500 and would hold the cat until I paid. After back and forth with them and the breeder I said I wanted a guarantee this is the last time I'd be requested money for shipping. I have that guarantee in writing and fully documented. Then on 12/21, they claimed they were shipping the cat and then I never heard from them again. No delivery or flight information. No responses to my requests for information which is absurd since I'd given them everything they'd required under the assumption it was legitimate and refundable. Then on 12/22, the breeder texts me and says they need another $1000 for "a city permit stamp". I refused to let them defraud me out of another $1000 and called the airport he claimed to be sending the cat and they said you can't even send animals directly to the airport and that unfortunately this scam happens a lot. I have never received the cat or my refund and I have ample documentation to provide you with as proof this all transpired. I am out $3700 that has been paid in full to the breeder and Global Shipping Carrier. Please help make these businesses accountable for fraud and breach of contract.
