Don't waste your time or money dealing with Omni Interactions. I applied for a project back in June, ilI completed all of the requirements, assessment, background check and drug screen by 6/21. I purchased the required equipment the two monitors, wired keyboard and mouse, micro cord and ethernet cord. The I registered for the class which is supposed to start on 7/22. Yesterday evening I get an email that my contract is being terminated because the client's call volume has gone down. It would have been nice to know this information before going through all of the hassle.Omni Interactions Response

Omni values and appreciates any feedback provided. We did notify the contractor above that there was a request from out client to reduce the number of contractors. We did also notify the contractor that there is another wave of the client coming in September and they are also able to apply to other gigs since their is a background check on file and is good for 6 months. We are so sorry your experience did not go as planned, but we would love to work with you to get you on a program.Review from Shelly C

I hate omni interactions they fired me and are refusing to pay me for the last two weeks I worked and I am owed. What a joke they expect top notch CSR's for minimal pay and then stiffed me in the end. I would never recommend working here to anybody.Omni Interactions Response

Omni values any and all feedback from the community. We also strive to respond to any internal or external emails sent to our support staff for any questions regarding pay. The contractor above was removed from the gig due to low adherence. There are two weeks worth of earnings due to the contractor, but the weeks in question have not been paid out yet. For the week of June 3, the payment was issued yesterday ( June 20). For the week of June 10, the payment will be issued out the following week ( June 27). The contractor is eligible for reassignment for another gig, so we encourage them to apply!Review from Aja S

This company is ran like a complete circus. No one from the Gig Supervisor ambassadors up have any clue how to communicate or effectively be leaders. They do not communicate whatsoever unless it is time to tear the GBAs down and complain whether it be hours picked or someone that could use constructive criticism. They had a job they said it would be 2 weeks unpaid training and then after 2 weeks they came and said the client wanted another 4 weeks of unpaid training. Which is a total of 6 weeks working 8 hours a day and absolutely no pay for any of it. After that they say they give incentives which is why I was willing to complete the training but they then gave any and every reason to not pay those out. Oh and not to mention they use a company Gigwage to pay and it has been down for 2 weeks so after finally working 2 months no pay. Pay is now delayed and they keep lying saying they are working on it and we should be paid soon. Not sure what that means because everyday they push the day we should expect our checks back. So unfortunately beware if you are really working for a paycheck and need to pay bills.Review from Jon R

This was a complete waste of time. After attending two online classes, a technical error with the certification classes precented me from continuing. the *** who responded to my chat was not able to help resolve this. I wasted my valuable time for a short project with Intuit TurboTax.Omni Interactions Response

Omni appreciates any and all feedback from our community. We did send direct messages to the contractor regarding the failed ID verification, with additional support tips and steps to try to fix their issue. They are still indeed eligible and welcome to apply to any gigs available, and hope that if any further issues come up, we are able to help!Review from Anita B

Potential contractors and clients beware! Omni Interactions will waste your time.I was onboarded recently and completed the training only to have my contract terminated with no explanation. Upon contract termination, I was told that I could reapply for another position. This is false, as I am locked out of their system. Whether it be incompetence or malice, I advise everyone to steer clear.I am now out $40, wasted 60 hours on training, and the only recourse is "we use a third party, background check payments are not paid to Omni Interactions". As this payment was a condition of a withdrawn employment offer, Omni Interactions is still responsible for this $40 payment. I understand I am not getting a refund, but they know it is wrong.Omni Interactions Response

Omni would like the opportunity to research your review further, but unfortunately the name and email address provided with the review are not in any of our systems. If the contractor could please respond back with their name and email address they signed up for a gig with, we can look into this further.Review from Pamela H

I tried several times to do the ** verification and it would not go through. They send me several emails trying to tell me how to solve the problem. I tried everything they suggested. I finally got it to work by using my husband phone to scan Q.R code and take a picture of my id and self portrait. I even got a message final step was complete and took a picture of the screen. They said it still wasnt completed and dropped me from getting the gig.The system is s*** It was a nightmare trying to complete the task. A lot of hard work for nothing. They have no other way of verifying you and from the reviews they know this is a flaw for them.Omni Interactions Response

Thank you for providing this feedback. The information you provided for ID verification was completed, but it was an issue with the picture you were uploading had low resolution or blurry. Our talent team has been working with you trying to get this resolved. I have been advised you passed this process today, and we are awaiting you to complete your background check. We have left two voicemails ensuring you are wanting to proceed. We look forward to hearing back from you.Review from Ian s

I applied for a gig on Omni Interactions in 2023, and after they scanned my government-issued ID and took my personal information, they stated they banned me from the platform and i would not be able to apply to any more of their gigs.Omni Interactions Response

The safety and security of our contractors and clients information is of the upmost importance to us. Please note, that the contractor above, was not processed further due to not passing a part of the ** verification process. An email was sent advising them not being able to move forward with a list of reasons on why ** verifications fail:
Your first/last name in our system is NOT the same name on your **.
- Your document is expired, or invalid for another reason (fake document, etc)
- Your photos were not clear, too blurry, illegible, the barcode was unreadable.
- Your selfie does not match your ** or a live face could not be detected.
- You used a non-approved document.
- Our vendor was NOT able to verify your identity matches the document provided.
- You did not allow location sharing
- You completed the process while using a VPN/Proxy Server.
- You are not located in *****************Review from Denene Y

I wish I had read these reviews before I attempted to sign up for the gig. I encountered the same problem with the ** Verification Process. **** needs to address with the vendor why so many potential contractors keep having the same issue. They should not require the $40 to be paid for a background check before the verification process is completed first without issues. This is a very bad business practice and not a good look. One of your competitors does not have an issue like this which is why I am now working for them as a contractor. They also are $10 cheaper for the background check using the same vendor Omni uses. Makes you wonder if **** getting a cut of that $40.Review from Jasmine T

I applied to work a gig that I couldn't get into before because my background check didn't come in on time; it popped up again on my opportunities list and I was excited to go for it again this time because it seemed like the perfect opportunity. I went through all the steps, including the ** verification, which was new to me because they didn't ask me to verify my ** the first time I applied to this contract. I ended up failing the ** verification because of a problem on their end. They won't give you a reason why your ** verification failed, but all of the reasons that were listed didn't apply to me. My information was accurate (it's the exact same **/information I used for a previous contract in the beginning of the year) and I don't have a VPN. The only issue I noticed was when trying to take a picture of my ** with my phone no matter how close I took the picture the picture still would end up farther away. I'm almost certain this is was caused the verification fail...it was a software issue on their end. After emailing them about reactivating my account; they sent a basic copy/paste of the initial email of my deactivation and stated they will be closing all communication channels. This isn't how you treat your GBAs; we are just trying to work on your platform.
