April 2022 - September 2023: Misdiagnosed as having eczema (without a biopsy to support the diagnosis). Spent hundreds of dollars on prescriptions and copayments.September 2023: Punch biopsy finally performed. I was diagnosed with plaque psoriasis. By this time, I was covered from scalp to feet in plaques. Doctor started talking to me about a drug called Skyrizi, which is a injection and is a biological drug. She gave me a "loading" dose during this appointment. I was supposed to receive a second dose October 20. I drove from ********************, to southeast ******, **, using half a tank of gas and an entire day of personal leave, only to find out they were out of the Skyrizi. In the meantime, the doctor's ****** should have been working on a prior authorization so that future doses can be delivered to me. It's an expensive medication, and a prior authorization is given when other treatments are ineffective. I cannot seem to get anyone on their staff to simply send the prior authorization to the *** Caremark Specialty Pharmacy and now I'm almost three weeks behind in receiving my second dose. The psoriasis gets worse with each passing day. The itching is unbearable and the embarrassment caused has already resulted in my missing a business trip during the summer. I just need this practice to send the prior authorization from point A to point B.

After waiting for an appointment I booked in June '22 I waited till my appointment date of August 18th. The day prior I called the office to make sure everything was good as I needed to take off work. The office worker not only told me this appointment was set up and good to go but double checked that my insurance was taken by the provider I signed up with. Upon showing up to the office on August 18 they inform me that they changed me to a provider outside of my insurance without my consent and that I would have to pay out of pocket or reschedule. I opted to reschedule which they then offered me a date in December of '22, I informed them this was not acceptable and was then offered a Sept 20th apt. I wait the additional month and around rolls September 19th at 3:00 PM after confirming my appointment multiple times I get a call 8 hours prior to my appointment informing me they need to reschedule me again. A little annoyed at this point I call into the call center to reschedule my appointment and find out why. To which I received no explanation and the soonest appointment was late October but again with someone outside of my network and I would need to pay out of pocket. Now what is the purpose of photographing insurance card, uploading it to their servers as well as giving the info over the phone, as well as they photocopied the card when I went in for & failed to receive the first appointment if they just ignore and neglect the fact that you keep providing the data needed for them to serve you properly. Finally after fighting to not have my appointment in January of 2023 and have it with an in network provider I now have an appointment for November. I will now be looking at close to 5 months to receive a basic skin check if this next apt even occurs. Now they are a dermatology office but maybe they need the reminder that Nodular melanomas can spread internally in as little as three months. Most radial melanomas can spread internally within 6 to 18 months.

I had an appointment on October 13, 2021. After 25 minutes past my appointment time , the dermatologist didn't show. I had a work meeting that I was going to be late to, so i left the office. I got a $50 **** for the appointment I didn't have. I would like that **** to be cancelled.
