      I have had gfl for a little over a year there was multiple missed pickups for trash they show up whenever they feel like it even though their being paid for a service and finally in January I had enough of feeling like an after thought or an inconvenience having to leave the garbage can out multiple days it blows over and trash all over the place cancelled the service on January 30th 2024 they said to leave the garbage bin out for up to 10 days today is February 21st it's still out there and multiple emails were sent but not responded to. In closing this is the worst trash collection company I have ever come across they should just get out of this business and let someone else take over.

      I have canceled service with this company because they continually fail to provide the service and they are refusing to refund the unused portion of my payment. I am paid through July and canceled service this week and they told me they will not refund my remaining 2 months. They are constantly late picking up our trash and many times don't pick it up at all. I have never received a credit for the weeks they don't even pick up the trash. I found a local company that is cheaper and decided to go with them for **************** and GFL asked if I wanted to finish the payment cycle and and I asked them why I would want to continue when they don't provide the service to begin with. Several people down my highway have switched because their service is terrible and more expensive.I just want my unused payment refunded.

      Councilman ********************* office asked me to report this to the Attorney General, and then the Attorney General asked me to report this to you. None of the private trash providers come on time (and sometimes don't even come for weeks at a time), recycling is just dumped with the trash because the providers aren't taking recycling right now (and haven't been for a while), and trash blows out of all the dumpsters so that there is litter every few steps in the alleys and on the sidewalks. The same broken glass has been on one of our sidewalks for weeks (I know because I carry our--luckily small--dog over that section). The trash situation has truly become a public health hazard. Our property manager is excellent and spends hours of his life each week on the phone with GFL (our provider), in particular. But Waste Connections and Republic seem just as bad at neighboring buildings. Thank you for any assistance.

      Trash was last serviced at an *** I manage on December 13. I had a hauler take most of it away at a cost of $1,758.00. Dozens of emails and phone calls to *** to complain. After the hauler I paid took it away, *** showed up Friday 1.6.23 at 6:00pm. Today the dumpsters are nearly to the top, recycle is overflowing, the next scheduled day for pickup is Tuesday 1.10.23. I anticipate a no-show. They did not pick up Saturday 1.7.23. I want to make certain the *** does not get charged for the month of December. I would like *** to reimburse the *** for the extra hauler fee, I would like them to get back to the 3 times a week pickup that is the agreement. There was no impediment to the dumpsters. There was no reason given to me, every time I called they said: a driver is scheduled for tomorrow. I went to the *** office on 1.6.23 and spoke to the *** He assured me they would pick up that day. I emailed him twice during the day to state they did not arrive. Finally at 6:00pm they picked up. The regular service days are T, F, S. They did not pick up Saturday 1.7.23. This is starting all over again.

      GFL Environmental is a trash/recycling company that doesn't provide consistent trash and hardly any recycling services. They credit accounts for some of the missed days, but they can't track those consistently either. They admitted their service is so bad that they offered to break our agreement, at no cost. We accepted their offer, but with zero notice, they removed their dumpsters. They did not pick up any overflow trash from their previous missed days.They do return e-mails and phone calls, at their convenience, not the customer. They obviously have no company pride or professionalism.

      GFL took over my original trash company County Waste. I have been paying direct payments for a year. They can not answer my question in regards to billing. 3 different customer service agents. No calls, no emails back no resolution. I have provided direct pay info via email. Absolutely no contact. Makes things worse that now trash isn't getting picked up. They say I am 90 days past due, I am paid up. Absolutely ridiculous.

      GFL bought out the garbage collection service this spring. We used the previous service provider for 14 years, mistakes were made, but always resolved promptly. Our May bill was okay and we paid it promptly. Our **** bill was a disaster, claiming they picked up on days they didnt and triple billing of some days. -> I called and was told lots of billing errors and throw away that **** and corrected should come with July bill. July bill was fine, but ************* was not corrected at all -> I wrote a letter about **** and sent July payment. July payment was processed. *************** came with errors duplicated billing for same date, and new surcharge that was not agreed. **** still not resolved. -> I wrote letter to dispute August charges and new surcharges, that I should have been given options to avoid. September I called to cancel all pickup. October I called to say if you tell me what dates and what bill would be I might want garbage collected, they said I should expect a call back. The receptionist asked if **** was resolved, I said no. I said August bill also a mess, she peaked and said the duplicate for pickup and 4x extra for surcharges. September bill is for another pickup and surcharges that we never agreed or never happened. ****, August and September are a billed wrong. Ive called and Ive written to no resolution. Now Im filling complaints to see if something happens. GFL is a horrible company, sounds like everyone that I know that has them, wishes they had someone better. People are willing to pay a reasonable fee to have someone remove garbage, billing issues resolved reasonably quickly and customer service should be responsive. Sad and frustrated. Im submitting via IPad and dont have the letters or *******************, I can submit if needed.

      GFL has been our waste collector for the last 4 or 5 years and at first we never had any issues. I would say in the last couple years it has went way downhill. I have to call constantly about our garbage not getting picked up, sometimes for two weeks straight. We only pay for one garbage can and we have tried setting two out because we have had so much garbage by the third week that we needed two cans and only one gets picked up. We pay for a weekly pickup and if its not going to get picked up weekly then we need to be reimbursed for that drastically! This happens constantly not to just our home to our whole subdivision. We have had enough and currently looking into a new provider which I will let my neighbors know about as well.

      We moved into new home in July 2022. We had to call several times to get are trash cans delivered. Once they were finally delivered at the end of July, they mistakenly sent an extra trash can. We have called 3 times and each time are advised there is nothing in the system. On todays date we asked to speak with Manager and she stated none of our calls are noted, making it seem like we hadnt called.

      I Manage Paramount Heights Condominiums in Lakewood. We have used GFL for approx. 3 years. We pay 900/mo for 3 pick up/week for 6 dumpsters. Almost every week there is some issue and we don't get 3 dumps per week or ************* only dumps 5 of the 6 dumpsters. I call and complain almost every week to a supervisor sometimes we get a credit and sometimes nothing. I expect 3 dumps a week of ALL 6 dumpsters. That's what we are paying for, not sometimes or the dumpster was half full. I spoke to a supervisor 2 months ago to have a dumpster replaced because the wheel was bad and ************* didn't dump it because he couldn't move it. It still has not been replaced yet he's been able to dump it since. I'm fed up with this company and it's customer service is horrible. The bad thing is ALL of the trash companies are bad.
