I tried to pay for gas at the pump here, and my card was declined. The screen said to see cashier. But before I went in, I saw that the store had taken the remaining $43.77 from my card after failing to dispense any gas. And since it happened on a Sunday, now I have to wait until the next bank day to get my money back. Also, the cashier was incredibly unsympathetic and unapologetic. The customer tried to pay for the gas at the pump, not inside the station, which got rejected for a reason unknown. The customer came inside and asked the Manager, who was serving at the register at that time. Manager tried to explain him that when someone pays at pump, we do not have any control on it, and normaly in such cases money goes back to the card with in some where from few hours to couple of day, depending on the bank. But the customer started shouting hestaricly on the manager that you are lieying and cheating and you do not want to refund my money. To which the manager again tried to explain to him that if he has not got the gas, the money will go back to him as the pumps work on pre-authorization method. But the customer was not ready to listen to anything. Then the customer walked out of the store and started making calls to the store phone and started threating the manager. To which the manager even replied that if you do not want to understand then you are welcome to call the police. Same was repeated next day and the customer threatened the manager again that he will keep calling and putting bad reviews about the station. Manager again tried to explain to him but he was not ready to listen to a single word, but started shouting on the phone "retun my money return my money".
Thats is all the story, If someone do not want to understand a valid thing, no one can do anything.

I am rejecting this response because:It took 5 Business days for your station to return my money. All of my other pending transactions went through by the beginning of the following business day after said transaction. For you to blame this on my bank, that is clearly a lie. I have every right to be upset about that. It's my money that you borrowed interest free for 5 days. I know it wasn't my bank's fault, and you need to apologize for saying it was. Also, BBB, please post my complaint for everyone to see. They need to know that these employees are dishonest. They like to blame your bank for something that is Shell's fault.

Also, I am asking the BBB to please keep in mind that I never threatened anyone PHYSICALLY. I am a nonviolent person, and the business owner is trying to make it sound worse than it is. The only thing I "threatened" to do was report them to people such as the police and the BBB. I did NOT threaten anyone's health or safety.Customer response

If you don't want me to say that you are lying and cheating, then return my money in a timely fashion. It's that simple.
