4/17/2021 I was in ****** and I had a medical emergency. I have medicad insurance from *********.The billing did not submit proper bill to release the payment from my insurance.My insurance requested proper filing Rose Medical did not respond.The ***************** discharged the bill.The doctor **** submitted a different bill to collection agency.I spent 2 years giving the collection agency the information to show I have insurance and my insurance can pay for the bill if it is submitted accurately. I have emailed and mailed the requested insurance proof over and over.Wakefield and associates, the collection company is reporting this to my credit.This is against the federal law.It s against the federal regulation to be report bill on my credit.Initial Complaint

On 9/27/2021 our son was born at Rose Medical. They submitted the invoice to my wife's insurance because it was on file to them during her pregnancy. (Just to note, we fought with billing for months just to get the invoice out of my wife's name and into our son's just so insurance would look at it) I then did the manual "submit a claim" and sent to my insurance (which my son is on) and they rejected it saying that ******************************* must submit to claim to my insurance. I've called three times and done this and they claim to have done it and my insurance has said they've never seen or heard a thing. I've even done joint calls and after we get off the insurance calls me in 15 days and says they haven't seen anything. I would like the BBB to assist in making Rose Medical submit the claim to my insurance so that it can be run through the appropriate insurance.Patient name: ***************************** Wife: **** ******************************* Insurance is attached - member id ********* as well for questions to UHC.
