I ordered and paid for 2 magizines on 12/28/24 from Magazine Circle, LLc which I haven't received and have not had a response from that company. The magizines are PEOPLE and THE WEEK. ** they can not deliver these to me then I want a refund.Business Response

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
We have processed ***** ****** renewals for People and The Week magazines (Order #******). She has an active subscription to People, and this renewal has extended it for another year. The new subscription will begin once the current one expires. Please note that her magazine issues are being delivered with no reported returns from the publisher.
For The Week, the magazine issue will be delivered on or before March 29th. ***** can also reach out to the publishers for additional details. ***** has been a customer with us since 2019, and we have been managing her subscriptions ever since.

I placed an order for a one-year subscription to Consumer Reports for my son-in-law on November 20, 2024. However, my son-in-law has never received the magazine and it's now 2/14/2025. I have called the company and I never got a response. I would like a full refund.Business Response

The first issue is expected to begin around mid-March, and weve attached the delivery schedule provided to us for reference. I found their website, *******************, when trying to renew my subscription to People magazine as it was at the top of the search results for 'how to renew People magazine'. I believed that I would receive the magazines beginning after my prior subscription ********** the beginning of this year my People magazine subscription had expired, despite thinking that I had renewed it through *******************. After looking at the receipts I realized that it would take 8-12 weeks from my order date (11-16-2024) which would mean I wouldn't begin receiving magazines until either 1-11-2025 or 2-8-2025. I decided to contact their customer support through chat to see if I could cancel the subscription and get a refund. Customer support was not helpful, they stated they could not give me a refund as "The payment has already been forwarded to the publisher and they are unlikely to issue refunds for canceled orders. We can offer a 10% discount in form of a refund." and that I would be receiving the magazines later than I was initially led to believe stating "People magazine is published 48 times a year, therefore, your first issue will start approximately 12 to 16 Weeks of placing your order. This is because when we receive your order, it takes about a week for your subscription to be received and scheduled by the publisher. It will then be included with the publisher's next production cycle and shipped to you via standard mail." I simply wish for my subscription to be cancelled and my money to be fully refunded, I do not want to wait until March 8th to receive these magazines as I am not even sure I will be getting any.Business Response

Hi BBB,
We received ********* renewal for People Magazine (Order #******) on our site on November 16, 2024. We processed her order and forwarded the payment to the publisher. According to the publisher's site, she has an ongoing subscription that will end with the January 27, 2025 issue. Her renewal through us was added to her ongoing subscription and extended. It will start only after the current one ends to prevent duplicate issues.
We have decided to cancel her renewal and issue a full refund from our own funds. Attached is the details of the refund.

On September 7, 2024, I paid $116.07 to Circle Magazine *** For a one-year renewal to my People Magazine subscription. The label on my most recent issue does not show a renewal date as of today. People Magazine has no record of this renewal. I would like a cancellation of my order to Circle and a refund on my **************** credit card. We have *********** renewal for People magazine, Order #******. The first issue was scheduled to begin at the end of December, with an estimated delivery time of 1216 weeks. This timeline allows the order to be processed and scheduled by the publisher, typically taking about a week. Once processed, the subscription would be included in the publishers next production cycle and shipped via standard mail.
We received Christines message on 11/23/2024 and responded immediately. Given the circumstances, we decided to cancel the order and issue a full refund, even though the publisher does not typically offer refunds at this stage.

Purchased a digital & print subscription to *************** Magazine as a gift for a friend. Transaction number: ****************** was processed on May 10, 2024. Magazine Circle advertised that the subscription would start 4-6 weeks after the transaction was processed , which was reasonable to me. On July 5, 2024, I sent another email to Magazine Circle inquiring about the status of my order since neither the print or digital issues were received. I received a reply stating that the issues should start between 8/13/2024 - 9/10/2024...nearly 4 months after ordering! No explanation was given regarding the reason for this excessive delay. Nevertheless, I remained patient. It is now October 24, more than 5 months since my transaction was processed, and the digital / print editions still have NOT been received. This extended and pervasive delay is unreasonable and unacceptable! I sent another email to Magazine Circle today demanding a full refund due to failure to provide the services ordered. I am awaiting a reply and a refund for this purchase. Upon further investigating the history of this business and consumer complaints, it appears that my situation is quite common - and perhaps even intentional (assuming that many consumers will forget the purchase after repeated and prolonged delays). Magazine Circle needs to be held accountable here and I intend to pursue all means necessary to receive a resolution and refund of my purchase.Business Response

Magazine Circle subsequently moved delivery date to August / September after I originally inquired about the delay. I've never received any explanation from Magazine Circle regarding the cause of the excessive and repeated delays, or the reason for failing to deliver the product / service. Point is moot now.

We received Dianas renewal for BETTER HOMES & GARDENS magazine on 2/2/2024. There is no order for Vanidades, and that this magazine is unavailable on our sites. Her subscription to Better Homes & Gardens is active, with the publisher mailing issues to the address she provided. Additionally, we havent received any emails or messages from ***** since the order was placed. Attached are her order details and account summary, which can also be found on the publishers site.
Please check the credit card statement and either call the listed company or contact the Vanidades magazine publisher directly. We hope this helps resolve the complaint.

On July 28, 2024, ************************* sent us an email to inquire about his MOPAR Action magazine subscription. One of our representatives emailed him, indicating that the order was not placed on our site. We are a magazine subscription agency and not a magazine publisher. If payment was not made to us, we are unable to provide a refund. We are happy to give a refund if he can provide documentation that the money was paid to our company. We suggest to check his credit card statement and contact the business where he made the order. All we did was help him.

I received an offer if February to purchase a subscription for People Magazine from ********************* for $116.07. I paid this amount by CC back in February. I have a receipt from Magazine Circle,LLC that processed my payment. As of this date, I have not received my magazine Subscription. I think this is a scam and I am requesting a refund of the amount I paid. Even if this is not a scam, I want to get my money back because I feel this was sent on false pretenses.
