On or around March 21st 2023 I contacted this company to take a look at my oven that went out.. they informed me there was a diagnostic fee that would be deducted from the cost of the repair of 79 usd. They proceeded to send a tech out to inspect the oven and I paid the fee. Next I received an email estimate of the repair and was told the diagnostic fee wd be deducted from it. I asked them to provide me the part number so that I could call the manufacturer and find out what they charged me was correct. I never received a reply so rocweded to speak w manufacturer to get the correct part number. Once I had it I sent it to them to show the price that was quoted to me. Their price was nearly double that plus service of the actual repair. I decided to order the part myself and have them come in and install it instead. I tried to obtain a quarterly for that service for over a week and finally was told that it would be what the first invoice said and no they could not deduct the diagnostic fee from the cost of the repair if I purchased the part myself. In other words they have manipulated the price of the part to be significantly higher than it was in reality to obtain so that any deduction of the diagnostic fee would amount to no change on their side. I only found it out by doing my own due diligence. After numerous calls to them and speaking with many people I was told by ****** the manager that they will refund me the amount of the diagnostic fee. I never received the refund despite follow *** and many more calls where they assured me they were issuing it. On a side note I am also convinced I am speaking to maybe two or most 3 individuals but they all seem to have new names after I call them, names that sound local like **** and **** but do not match at all the voice/accent Im hearing. Why would you not use your real name u less you have something to hide sirs I would be happy to provide the supporting emails if needed separately .
