The resident's concerns that were reported to our office, and that are consistent with the terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement have, and/or are being addressed appropriately and in a timely manner by our office. Specifically:
1. Electrical Issues: A certified and licensed electrical vendor has been arranged to complete necessary repairs in the home. Our office is working to schedule this with the vendor and will be in contact with the resident to arrange a timeframe that works for all involved parties. This is being actively mitigated.
2. Pests: Similarly, a pest vendor has been scheduled to be dispatched to the property in response to the resident's concerns. Again, when a timeframe is arranged, this will be communicated to the resident. In the meantime, our team has been dispatched to the property to set up traps, fill holes, spray, etc. This is being actively mitigated.
3. General Maintenance Concerns: Our team has already been dispatched to the property and has completed work related to her concerns regarding, "Everything is dirty, broke, and really old." First and foremost, broken components of the home have been adequately repaired, including but not limited to new locks, patching of sheetrock throughout the house, caulking of windows, and repair of the garbage disposal. We have also cared for the landscaping on multiple occasions, though this is the responsibility of the resident to maintain and upkeep. The professional cleaning company cleaned the entire home prior to move in. As far as the resident's disappointment in the overall property and her satisfaction with it, the home is an older home and was leased regardless. It is the responsibility of the renter to understand the general condition, age, and appeal of the property they are renting. While we will fix broken items, address maintenance issues, and try to provide exceptional service, we cannot change the home itself or otherwise help address the fact that a lease was signed on a unit the renter simply does not like.
4. Mold: The resident has not yet reported or otherwise communicated a concern of mold until this complaint. Our office will reach out to attempt to address, but we cannot fix or otherwise help with an issue that is not properly reported or communicated.
