We had an amazing experience. Thank you ****** for keeping our huge project on track and working with our insurance company. ****** helped ** in so many ways and was always responsive to our calls and our texts. Without ****** I don't think this would have been accomplished with our insurance who was avoiding our emails and calls.Review from Tracy H

had these guys come out and check my backup in the basement floor drain and shower drain, not only those issue, but the pressure from the back up also blew out the wax ring from the basement toilet! The tech was having problems with snaking the main line and suggested a camera look. I agreed because i've had these done before and believe that in the intervening time, the problem had gotten worse. I was right in that a part of the line had shifted significantly. They came out and instead of tearing up my whole yard, they dug a trench 8 x 9 x 3, pulled the broken pipe, replaced it, and installed a liner from the house to the city trunk. I was extremely pleased with the service and pricing, and will use these guys again if needed!!Review from Jo B

I was charged $2500 to replace a piece of pipe. I asked for an itemized bill but they refused. They said a manager would call me but he never did. I believe I was charged excessively. There is no reason why I could not see what I paid for. They were very rude to me and scammed me. What are they hiding??? I am a single mom with not a lot of money. I will never use them again and will let people know if they use Rootertown you'll be scammed. Disgraceful! Shame on you Rootertown!Review from Rosi B

The workers were very polite and worked hard but the Supervisor *** was the worst. My job ended up being tripled because of all the problems they found. Not sure I trust any of that now. Think I was scammed from the get-go. *** never talked to us and when I called multiple times about nobody showing up and work not being done for days at a time he threw his workers and office under the bus. Never finished doing the job either even when a last appointment was set up so I ended up doing it myself. My house was ripped up for 3 weeks! Worst company ever. Spent A LOT of money. Feel like I was duped.Review from Jon D

One star ONLY because you have to choose one (actually **** stars). Company is a complete fraud and ripoff. Had them out to snake my line beginning of March, got sold a high pressure jet cleaning for $600. On top of that, they damaged my sink faucet (retractor hose) and drain line in no less than two places, that then leaked in my crawl space for a month which I didn't discover until I went to change my furnace filter. Called them and told them of the damage and to come out and fix it. Once back on site, of course they asked the age of my house, and said they would not cover the repair due to that. Wanted to charge me $450 to cut out and replace two sections of 2" drain pipe. I said no, it's not worth that much. He then asked how much was it worth, I said $300, maybe $350. So his "manager" supposedly told him $375....and I reluctantly agree. Technician decided a saws all would be a good way to cut a suspended drain pipe, causing even more leaks. So now the entire run needs replacing. Technician claims his "manger" wanted to charge me $1700 to do the work, but he felt that was too much, and suggested $950 (wow, what a freak'in deal). Told him no way, I am more than capable to cut it out and replace on my own. So I did......cost, $70 for 30 feet of 2" pipe, 3 couplers and a 90 degree corner. Took me less than two hours, and another hour to finish cleaning up all the leaked water. This company is a complete scam. Have left multiple messages to have a "manager" call me back, but no dice. Steer clear of Rooter Town or you will surely be sorry as many other have been.Review from Logan F

When telling people about my experience with Rooter Town, banditry is the most politely response. We experiences a back up on Easter. Rooter Town was the only company who could make it out, that was amazing. The tech, *****, who came out removed my toilet (come to find out $150 charge for <5 minutes work) and went to work. He got about 50' into a 100' line and said he was stuck and didn't want to go any further for fear of breaking the line (more on that later). He got his supervisor, ******, out for a scope of the line (another $250 dollars). The supervisor said the line was broken 60 feet out and they had to tear up my lawn and replace it, $6800. I was a little suspicious at this point because I thought they should have run the whole line. And I found out my line was concrete, not the **** they insisted it was, so it was less likely to break than the **** one with their rooter. My suspicions became paranoia when the supervisor said, "my boss said he'd knock $1,000 if you want to do it today". Then, while I was calling my insurance to make sure it was or wasn't covered he came back and asked me if there was anything we could do on the price to get it done today... I had had enough. I called two real plumbers the next day, they came out and both scoped my line for free (not the $250 dollars Rooter Town charged) and both said, the clog was at the connection to the city main, 95 feet out. And BOTH said, we have to try rooting the WHOLE line first because it may be a simple clog. They were unwilling to even consider tearing up ground before we tried everything we could. The charlatans at Rooter Town essentially extorted $500 dollars from my, knew I didn't have plumbing, and suggested a $6800 fix that would not have worked. If I hadn't felt uncomfortable from ******** hard pitch sales tactics I'd have spent over 7k already and there would still be a problem. I would never trust one of their employees in my home again and you shouldn't either.Review from J. K

A man from this company came out to clear our main sewer line. I guess you get what you pay forhe poked a 1 hole in a 4 clog. We had to call and ask them to come out again and clear a larger opening. The same man (late 20s early 30s) came out the second time, entered our home and proceeded to chew us out. He was terribly disrespectful, disdainful and quite frankly snotty. He refused to do anything more, stating that we could call his boss if we wanted. We are elderly people and are extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!Review from Theresa D
