I am experiencing my Paradigm shift to the fullest since living and investing in my overall recovery in Hazelbrook SOBER living. It's my 6th attempt in a sober living environment home and it's been the best 9 months that I have invested in my life.I came here to Hazelbrook not as a requirement and I'm not a needy resident, I didn't come to lay around for a free ride. I am a voice for those who don't want to " sell their life" away to people who don't love them or care about them. Homelessness kills needlessly, when Hazelbrook helps where others don't. **** is going to be a year of "*******************" and Challenges. I wish you well and if you want a good chance in a new life consider Hazelbrook Sober living ok.

I think hazelbrook knows what people in recovery need to reach success and hazelbrook staff and the service's they provide are a foundation for which my recovery stands on and I'm so grateful for the love and support they provide and I will tell you from experience that when you're in the midst of addiction and the suffering it brings it's good to know there is a organization that is prepared to provide professional treatment and support to ensure a healthy new start ??

I have been with Hazelbrook Sober Living since March of 2021. I was court order thru probation. In the time I have been in this program, I learned how to love myself, that discomfort is okay because that's how we learn and grow, and most importantly that it takes a village of support and I absolutely have that here. It is so much more than a place to recover, it's become my family. I owe this organization my life because they saved mine truly. I am currently off off of probation after facing a 10 year DOC sentence. ********** truly gave me purpose!!!

Let me just say I love hazelbrook and what they do. I was brought into the *** program at the end of December ******************************* I didn't know what to expect. I then went through *** for 2 weeks where I could re acclimate to not being under the influence and then transferred into hazelbrook sober living homes ADA ****** They allowed me a bed and my own little living space shares with a roommate and it turned out to be an awesome experience. The program saved my life I was in active use for 7 years to now a year and a month of non use and I don't miss it. Hazelbrook even brought me into their leadership where now I am a house manager running the very house that saved my life and allowing me to help others grow and get out of this program the blessings I have gotten. They treat everyone like family. the structure and accountability are amazing. The staff is professional and to do what they do takes a certain type of person. Sometimes they recieve the most disrespect for holding people accountable and or trying to keep a safe environment for the residents that are trying to work a recovery. Hazelbrook sober living has given me an opportunity and that are growing fast so if you have anyone who is going through a hard time with addiction please give hazelbrook sober living a chance to change your life like they did mine.

Without Hazelbrook Sober Living I would not have ever had the chance to find my path to recovery and turn my life around. If anyone says otherwise they were there for the wrong reasons and probably fighting the program.Hazelbrook gave my life structure, gave me a safe, sober place that fostered love, compassion, and the strength to believe in myself again. They do hire from within, and due to that I came into contact with people who shared the same struggles as I had, from being homeless, from struggling with addictions, to having experienced prison and jails. That alone made me connected to the staff even that much more because they lived these experiences that were so akin to mine, that I looked up to them because they made me feel that no matter what I had been through, that I could be successful and change my life too. The empathy and relationships were immediately and immensely more powerful and profound than ANY other experience that I have had with professionals who had never broken a single law in their lives or had ever used any substances, ever. Hazelbrook encouraged me to be the best me I could ever be. A new me. They provided me with their own peer lead groups that opened my eyes to new techniques to combat my triggers, traumas, and thoughts of self doubt and self hate.I couldnt be more grateful for the program and their staff. The house I was placed in was immaculate, new, and very beautiful. All of the other houses that I had the privilege to visit or see were also very nice, very well cared for, with new appliances, furniture, and furnishings. The rooms werent crowded and I had access to my own bathroom. The kitchen was nice and clean with all new appliances. When going to groups at their community center, or other sober recovery ************** they provide, I met so many happy, healthy people who also loved Hazelbrook, were grateful, and became part of a huge recovery group that I could rely on for love and support. This is how life should be.

Recovery is incredibly unique to the individual and addicts trying to find a new way to live are very delicate and once the substance has been subtracted the addict is left with a plethora of different character defects that only the most diligent, open minded, willing and vigorously honest addict can truly commit to. Hazelbrook deserves to be recognized more than they are probably going to ever be because they are the only sober living organization in the region even offering a space for addicts to come and safely detox and find a new way to live. They are dynamic and flexible and they recognize that the mental health of each is client is going to be severely impacted and fragile coming off of substances and they dedicate themselves and commit to each client and I am living proof that if a client truly wants to find recovery they are absolutely ready for the challenge. The only two disqualifiers are using in the home and assault. EVERYTHING else they promise to try and help and from there it's truly only up to the individual. They work 24/7 to keep clients safe and have skilled professionals and dedicated staff that are on call ready and fully equipped with any resources and help they know of. The womens group therapist is the founder of the ******* House and she refers to the women that come through that home as her legacy. She intends to give everything she knows and that worked for her in her own experience away to us women in the hopes that we catch on and find it for herself. She is in prison reform advocating for inmates and was a former inmate herself, she is on the board of mental health at ***************************, she is a main player in decriminalizing Drug Felonies to misdemeanors, she has helped get the public to recognize addiction as a public health concern not a criminal one and she is only one Staff at Hazelbrook. After my substances wore off my anger and behavioral issues surfaced my case mgr and house mgr worked diligently to not give up on me

Hazelbrook has been an absolute life saving program for me. The *** in particular. The bad reviews Im reading here are from former clients or staff who are vindictive because they got what they put in to the program. This program is literally saving lives Ive seen countless lives transform here, myself included. I trust the hierarchy of Hazelbrook each individually and as a unit with my life.

First off let me start off by informing all reading this that hazelbrook Sober Living is a for profit company not a charity not a rehab not anything like that it is a company that exploits people in bad situations by cramming 15 people in a 2 bedroom house and charging them 825 a month each. But wait that's just skims the surface this company is also run entirely by recently Sober drug addicts and ex felons and it shows !!! I'll give you a couple examples...they have you do a 5 min computer questionnaire they call mtx than charge your insurance for an hr long session with a therapist there houses are not at all up to code and there sre multiple fire and structural hazards. Also they will charge their residents cash for meetings with their unlicensed staff and then charge their insurance the same amount I have invoices to prove it..I'm formally requesting threw the bbb that hazrlbrook Sober living refund **** I've paid to stay there under illegal pretenses or I'm showing the world the proof I have of your felonious dealings you have 72 hours.....dhs has been informed *** has been informed and fox news problem solvers...72hrs
