This company mails out local (spam) ad newspaper and does not have any defined way of unsubscribing. I contacted the only numbers I could find in November 2023 and left multiple voicemails and text messages with no response whatsoever. I just followed up again at the end of February 2024 and I finally got a callback. the person was very **** and advised me to contact the printing company (********************) instead and then promptly hung up on me. I called ******************** and have made an unsubscribe request. My concern is that there is no mention of unsubscribing in either the "Our Community" Magazine noir the website. There should be a clearly defined unsubscribe process that does not involve cold calling and cold emailing several people across several months. Incredibly unprofessional and underhanded.

This man has called me several times over the past couple of months. I let him know that I was in the hospital after just having a c section and recovering from giving birth. I let him know I would tell my rep at the printer he would like to unsubscribe when I got out of the hospital. I did just that, as you can see through the screen shots I attached to this email. The post office may take up to 2 months to get the property removed  from the mailing list, but as you can see the process has been initiated. If this man would have a little patience, h*** stop receiving the magazine that is just so burdensome to him.

I have just received another "my community" magazine. The incompetence here is staggering. How hard is it to not send spam mail out? Do I need to send a formal cease and desist?

      Customer response

I am writing to express my extreme frustration with your continued delivery of "Our Community" magazine, despite my formal complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau in February and multiple requests to be removed from your mailing list.

It has now been over five months since my initial request, and I received yet another unsolicited magazine today. This is unacceptable and a clear violation of my right to privacy.

I am demanding that you immediately cease and desist from sending me any further mail. Failure to comply with this final request will result in my filing a formal complaint with the ************************ (FTC). I will also be forced to consider all available legal options to protect my rights, including potential legal action.

I urge you to respect my wishes and remove me from your mailing list permanently.

      Sincerely,

      Blake

I've given ******* address to my rep at the post office twice. I have no way of tracking whether the post office follows through with taking her off the mailing list. I wouldn't know the magazine is still being sent to her unless she reached out to me, which I haven't heard from her since February, so I assumed the post off removed her address. I am happy to call my rep for the **** again and give them her address again and let them know she vehemently does not want to received this magazine. At this point, maybe ***** could call the post office and see if she can ask on her end as well? Maybe if we are both asking the **** to please remove her from the list they will follow through with it?
