Original transaction date 2/14/2021 we paid 800$ for upgraded adoption of a puppy. Which meant we agreed to use one of their partnered vets. We also had to give them a blank check that if we did not get said puppy neutered they would take an additional 300$ for bank acct. We took our puppy to Church ranch vet from day one of adoption. This was one of their partner vets. When we inquired about neutering the vet wanted to wait until puppy was 6 months old. That would bring us to june 14 2021. We informed mamco at that time of vets advice. On our next visit to vet around june to sept 2021 we started asking about neutering. The vet stated that he could quote us the cost of neutering. We to him we had a voucher for the procedure. They then asked if it was from mamco? After stating yes we were informed that they no longer work with them due to unpaid fees. We then had to save up money for the procedure ourselves. Which cost us over 1000$ due to when we were able to save up said funds puppy was now over 1 year old making it more expensive. On 12/14 without so much as a phone call or communication mamco drafted 300$ from bank acct. I contacted vet to have documents sent to mamco. Called mamco to tell them that documents would be sent over to them and asked when I would receive my funds back they told me I wouldnt. Big picture they broke the contract when they failed to fulfill the voucher for the neutering. They should not have any entitlement to any more funds. Considering 800$ for a puppy adoption is extremely high to begin with. This is not a pure bread puppy.

Hi there, We have a complaint from ***************** but she didn't adopt a dog from **. zONe of her family members did but she did not. None of the paperwork is in her name included the adoption paperwork and the contract we require all adopters to fill out. Is there anyway to get this complaint removed since she didn't adopt through us.

The puppy was actually purchased by my husband *************** and son *************************** as a gift for myself. I am the one filling the complaint because I was the one that spoke to the person in the office regarding the monies drafted out of my sons account. As I stated before this was a breach of contract on their part due to them not paying obligations to vets on their list.

I paid $250 deposit to this rescue for a puppy. The day prior to me receiving the puppy, I was informed by telephone that said puppy had a highly-contagious and possibly deadly parasitic disease. The puppy was advertised on the website prior to all diagnostic results.Per the company contract:"* BY SIGNING THIS SECTION OF THE CONTRACT YOU AGREE THAT MAMCO RESCUE HAS TAKEN REASONABLE PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE THE HEALTH AND WELL:BEING OF THE *** PRIOR TO ADOPTION."This was not followed, and they will only give me credit towards another animal. They refused to refund my money. Why would I trust this rescue to get another animal if they do not wait for a clean bill of health prior to posting the animals on their website?

The adopter who is writing this review is absolutely, blatantly lying. We do a ***** exam on every puppy prior to adoption, and there was a delay from the lab. The puppy he had placed a deposit on had a very common, treatable parasite, and would have been going home with medication and a waiver stating that we would pay for any future treatments that were necessary for the puppy's diagnosed parasite. He proceeded to flip out on my staff and decided not to adopt the puppy. He was told at the time he placed his deposit and then again agreed in writing that the deposits are non refundable. He is now posting here because his bank denied his dispute because he was fully aware of the no refund policy.

I am rejecting this response because: I was never told of a ***** test. I was to pick up said puppy on Saturday, then received a call the Friday before that the puppy had a highly-contagious disease that can live in soil for many months. I simply asked if the ****** could hold the puppy until cured, but this was refused - I have a other young puppy at home that could catch the parasitic disease.
They posted an animal on their website without having a known clean bill of health. I questioned why I couldnt simply re rice my money back and read part of the contract back to them while being shut down.

From there, I left negative reviews, and they responded so horribly (they have a history of this in ****** Reviews), calling me ignorant and questioning if I ate p*** - all on a public forum, mind you.

      ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************(Moms%2520and%2520Mutts%2520Colorado%2520Rescue%2520for%2520Pregnant%2520%2526%2520Nursing%2520Dogs,ru_q:MAMCO%2520Rescue%2520(Moms%2520and%2520Mutts%2520Colorado%2520Rescue%2520for%2520Pregnant%2520%2526%2520Nursing%2520Dogs,trex_id:xRVR4e&lpg=cid:CgIgAQ%3D%3D

Language in the contract states that the organization will take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and well-being of the dog prior to adoption. This is what I read to them on the phone, yet was shut down from further speaking. Reasonable precautions would not be sending a sick dog to a home with a young puppy.

These people are not very professional: they insinuate things that simply arent true, such as me not doing research about coccidia (**********************************************************) and that I was refused a refund from my credit card company (still pending).

If they are not going to return my money, Id be willing to have them send a donation receipt to my address for the $250 that returned no puppy to me. I am also hesitantly willing to further this matter to Consumer Protection at the AGs office.

      Sincerely,

      *************************
