On Friday 5/24/24 I picked up my ******* Kona from Young's after they had completed a hail damage repair which included replacing the entire roof. I immediately noticed that 1) the sunroof was completely inoperable, 2) there was a noise eminating from the dashboard interior, and 3) a running lightbulb was out. I notified *********************** at ******* as soon as I arrived home and arranged to bring the vehicle in the next week. The problems were resolved except for the dash noise. ***** said he thought it was a climate control system clutch and that they did not work on that part of the car. A few weeks later on 6/18/24 I found a small electronic component on the floor of the car. It is marked with a QR Code and seems to be a humidy sensor of some kind. I then inspected the cover that encloses some of the automatic climate control sensors which is located wrapped around the rearview mirror and attached to the interior roof headliner - the same area where the sunroof wiring/connectors are located. I found the cover to be in place but not properly attached and loose. I sent a text message to ***** on 6/18 asking him to contact me to discuss. I received no response so on 6/27 at around 11am I called ******* front desk and asked to speak to *****. He was unable to take the call at that time but I was assured he would call me as soon as he could. I still haven't received a call back after 24 hours so I am filing this complaint.Business response

the complaint was regarding a removed sensor that he found under the seat. the new sensor was installed and everything is fixed that we were paid for by the insurance within the guidelines of his contract with them. the customer came in on 7/18 and we were able to show him where the new sensor was installed. Everything has been and still is working and the repairs are done as quoted. The complaint had nothing to do with the repair or his satisfaction of the repair. His concern is with the sensor that he found under the seat that was dropped when removed for installing the replacement parts. I believe everything has been to his satisfaction and confused as to what the new or any issue is. Please reach back out to the shop for us to further investigate what your new or continuing complaint is.
