      Purchased 8/8/23 bought a table and 8 chairs. I was promised my end chairs in one month. American sales person charged all as it was only going to take a month or less to get the chairs in. I called once it had been a month and no chairs I was told to give it another month but chairs never arrived until 11/2023. At that time a charge of ****** for end chairs came in. When I called ***** front desk manager did not even hear us out said she was the only one we could talk to and that we were wrong and would not even pull up the account. She stated that American furniture does not charge before item are delivered. I told her we paid cash for half of the purchase that day and added the rest to the card. So we did pay prior to delivery. Im not sure if I should even call American furniture back on how they talk to you like the are not even educated

      We spent more than $4k on living room furniture, after several attempts to replace it, we gave up on replacing it. The furniture arrived damaged, the delivery guys forced to push the furniture through the door knowing that it could not fit through the door, they were too lazy to remove the back rests from the couch and install them inside. Very bad delivery service, customer service always finds a new solution without a positive outcome. The entrance door is a standard size, 36" wide. I am surprised that they are still in business. Next time I will buy furniture somewhere else.

      I purchased a recliner from AFW in ******** ** on 3/23/2024. When I unpacked the recliner there was a small hole in the leather on the right side panel near the bottom edge. I called AFW the following Monday, March 25th and spoke to their customer service. They sent me an email requesting photos of the damage and that they would respond within 48 hours. I replied to the email on Tuesday, March 26th with 5 photos of the hole in the leather. It has now been 4 days and I have yet to hear from anyone from AFW. At this point I would like to return the damaged recliner for a full refund (which I requested on a follow up email on 3/28).

      I recently bought a recliner from afw and since i picked it up myself, I am required to inspect. I looked at the material which looked fine the base of recliner looked fine also. but I didn't realize that the part of the base which the chair is attached the screws are lower then the base in which carved into my wood flooring. Since when does the consumer look a that. I inspected material and the base. You can not see with a plain eye that those s**** heads extended below base of chair. I want my wood floor taken care of and replace the chair or return my money.

      We went to the store after tech was here and was told new cushions not covers were ordered and delivered to our house and a week after that we called to see when we would be receiving our new cushions and was told the following Your staff in ****** is extremely unsatisfactory we were never told that all the material was not italian leather are we would not have purchased these pieces of junk we reported the faulty cushions they sent a tech he also took pictures of the cushions that were faulty when we called about the status we were told we would have to pay for the replacement cushions because we were 2 months past the warranty date they also told us it would cost another almost ****** to replace the covers so in closing I will be letting all my friends not to be buying your faulty furniture and letting them know that the staff is lying about the quality of the material it's only partially italian leather

      If I could give them a negative star review I would. I purchased two dressers at the westminster location and they did not have them in stock, but ******** did. My husband drove to pickup the dressers and the men at the receiving dock did not handle our dressers with care. They flipped the boxes up side down and also slammed it on the truck bed, they did not offer to tie it down, my husband had to correct their mistakes as well as secure our furniture they could care less about. They even went back to the camera footage and confirmed it was in fact loaded in correctly but they don't see a problem with how the furniture was handled and they offered for me to return the product with 15% stocking fee for broken furniture. I spoke with a few different customer representatives and they all give the same scripted response as well as there's "nothing we can do for you". I will never recommend this company to anyone and will never be shopping here again. I wish I would have looked here for reviews first to see that they are not recommend.

      I am reaching out to report an unsatisfactory experience with AFW regarding a recent furniture purchase. During the loading process, the dock staff mishandled the furniture, causing damage by inverting it. Despite efforts to address this issue, AFW has not assumed responsibility for the damage. Instead, they have proposed solutions that incur additional costs on my part.To retrieve the initial purchase, I had to rent a truck and trailer, a detail AFW overlooked in their resolution proposals. It is documented and acknowledged by AFW that the furniture was incorrectly loaded into my vehicle, leading to further inconvenience as I had to rectify their error.AFW suggested that I could return the damaged furniture for a replacement. However, this solution disregards the absence of a suitable vehicle on my end and the additional expenses and time I would have to invest once more.Given the circumstances, I believe it is only reasonable for AFW to deliver a replacement for the damaged furniture at no additional cost to me, acknowledging their mistake and ensuring customer satisfaction. I hope the ******************** can assist in facilitating a fair resolution to this matter.Thank you for your attention to this issue.*********,**********

      Racist purchased a sectional coffee table end couch spent about 2000.Husband was with me at time of purchase his name is on the order sheet for pick up and because he is black they didn't trust his id that is valid and has a clear photo of him

      I ordered a couch for over ***** dollars that did not fit in my apartment. I couldnt find anything else so just wanted a refund. They of course took out the delivery charge and the 15% restocking fee from my refund, but they also took out an additional ***** dollars that they could not explain. They kept saying we have to reach out to the higher *** to get an explanation on this. Spoke to numerous people but never received a call back from anyone or a check for the remaining *****. Its sad that a company that makes so much money has to nickel and dime, lie and cheat their customers for a buck. I bought a lot of furniture from them moving into my new apartment. After this I will NEVER shop or recommend them to anyone. I just had to give up trying to get my money back because I was getting nowhere.

      Bought an entertainment center. Arrived damaged. They sent someone to fix it who said we needed it replaced. Brought the replacement, damaged! Then they took the replacement and said they would bring a new one back....Well.. they they deliver to the wrong address. Talked to me like I did not know where I lived. They proceed to hang up on me twice!
