      Transmission blew up on brand new truck 2024 Silverado 2500hd it only has ***** miles on it. I called the dealer they told me they couldnt fix it that day, I showed up trying to get it fixed but they said I had to drive home in my broken truck because they didnt have any loaners, they dont have any parts, and they didnt have any place for me to store my tools and building materials safely. I live 2 hours away. Tried to get a rental and they told me they would only cover 44 dollars of rental and the rest is my responsibility. This is unfair and dishonest. This truck is warrantied. Been givin the run around by ********** and the service director ****, at this point anytime I call any of **** always number my phone goes straight to dimititruouss voicemail. I never get a response or call backs. Im being expected to pay 25 dollars a day for an indefinite amount of time. Havent heard any sort of ETA for my truck or parts. Was told it could be over a month 30x25 is 750$ a a month. I would really like to be compensated for this as I already spent ****** on a a brand new truck for my business that I cannot use.

      This is an issue for ************** the vehicle manufacturer.   GM reimburses a maximum of $44/day. That is their policy.  Parts for this vehicle in on National Backorder.   This dealer does not have large work trucks as available loaners.   There are closer dealers than us, their loaner fleet may vary. 

      We have provided this customer contact information for ************** as they are set the rules and build the parts.

      I bought car from **** Elway ***** about 3 years ago. I sold the car. I went to cancel my warranties and get my refund as thats my right. From the start they were very combative saying they are lucky theee dealership even does this. On there form they age 4-6 weeks in writing to get you the check. They are over that time frame. You can call. Leave messages. They dont respond. When you finnaly her a manager ******************* he will tell you ever excuse in the book vs just solving the problem. I am sure I am not the only client they do this to. BUYER BEWARE

      Check had already been cut and mailed however it was to the wrong address.  Customer is aware of this.  Also was told check can be picked up today.

      I ordered a part from this dealership and was told it would be a couple days so I had to check into a hotel because I was traveling, Monday came around but no parts , I called and they couldnt locate it, finally I get a phone call Tuesday ( after spending 4 nights in a hotel) to tell me they forgot to order the parts!! I want the dealership to pay for my hotel because it is there incompetents that has me stuck in a hotel in the first place

      This part WAS ordered the day it was requested on Sat 9/23/23.  See attached.   When customer was here he did not wait until we were finished researching the status - instead left hollering.  He can try to find this part at another Chevrolet dealer.  We are not responsible for availability - and there is a GM strike right now so it may be a while more that would be normally.   We will not consider paying for hotel - we did our part to order it that day.

      Purchased a 2023 tahoe August 2022.At 600 miles my truck shut down out of nowhere and check engine lights came on. Dealership couldnt figure out the issue, thought it was bad lifters, then a bad power supply and ultimately ended up swapping out the injectors. Drove home and was making a weird noise so took it back to dealership to discover they forgot to connect a hose.Then the engine started making a ticking noise at **** miles. Had it looked over many times and they couldnt figure out the issue. Finally a gm field engineer checked it out and they ended up replacing the entire engine.Fast forward to March this year and go to turn on ac for the first time and its nothing but hot air blowing. Took back to elways and they thought it just needed to be charged-not the case, it needed a compressor replaced.Compressor got replaced and was getting cold air but now the engine was acting funny. Any time the ac is on it drives like a tank. The floorboard rattles and it makes a god awful noise.Had enough issues with the first dealership to I took it to foundation Chevrolet to get checked out. They found stripped bolts, a bad harness and a frayed ac belt. They told me they couldnt repair it because gm would not reimburse them for poor workmanshipElways agreed to pay for the repairs so I took it back to foundation to get the work done..they told me they replaced the stripped bolt and harness and it was good to go..I asked if the frayed ac belt was addressed and they said they knew nothing about it. Went back in and confirmed it needs a new ac belt..so almost sent me back on the road with a belt that was ready to snap and would shut down the engine..not only this, they didnt even fix the problem. The ac still makes the same noise was confirmed by the service managerI stopped by after a few days because I Hadnt heard any updates nor had any of my calls been returned and I see my truck parked out back..manager said they cant figure out what the issue is

      I see a reply stating this needs to be filed against foundation Chevrolet? I want to make it clear that elway sold me the lemon and did all of the work up until last week. Elways replaced the compressor with a bad compressor and frayed ac belt. After all my issues with elways I then took it to foundation to get it checked out and work done. So theres two dealerships were dealing with here, both who have no idea what theyre doing.

      John Elway Chevrolet is not currently working on this vehicle. It is in the care of ********** Chevrolet - to which the complaints are directed.  We have long ago authorized any repairs to be completed to ********** Chevrolet directly to ********************************   THis complaint is not in the scope of John Elway Chevrolet at this time.

      Elway Chevrolet created all these issues. They put in a bad compressor with a frayed ac belt initially, then put in another bad compressor, and stripped the bolts while doing it.

       

      foundation is only involved now because elways service department has created all these issues that foundation is attempting to clean up.

      John Elway Chevrolet is not in possession of this vehicle. We have authorized Foundation Chevrolet - or any other Chevrolet Dealer to make any repairs deemed our responsibility at our expense.  There are 10 Chevrolet Dealers capable of work on this vehicle within the Denver ***** and outlying areas.  ***************** is no longer welcomed in our dealership.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      elway chevrolet sold me the Lemon that Im paying 12% interest on(20k) plus I got an extended warranty(5k) that they are making off a Lemon they sold me. Not only is it a lemon they sold me, but since have screwed up multiple repairs now doing more damage to my engine and decreasing its lifespan.

      they replaced the engine and forgot to connect hoses, put in a bad ax compressor, and then tell me Im no longer welcome back to their dealership.

      Im not accepting this as they owe me for the extended warranty that they should be covering for the Lemon and all the poor workmanship.

      My loan should be refinanced down to 0% as well as they should not be making an additional 20k on top of sticker price for the garbage they sold me and all the issues Ive dealt with and am currently dealing with.

      Im not ok with them just pushing me away, making their money and dumping the problem on someone else.

      Regarding "complaints" these are all solvable - or solved.

      1. "Sold Me a Lemon"  - Complainant has legal remedy to pursue w/ Manufacture, if qualified under Federal Lemon Law act. Dealer not involved in this. 

      2. "Refinance my loan at 0%" - Dealerships do not refinance loans.  Complainant can re-finance loan with any lender he chooses at any time.

      3. "Have a Warranty I am paying for" - This warranty was canceled and all fund to be reimbursed to lender.  He is aware of this. 

      We consider this matter closed and future responses unnecessary.

      john elway Chevrolet isnt walking away from this. 

       

      they sold me a Lemon, they then repaired it so bad that another dealership wouldnt touch it and now they want to act like its my problem now to fix. This isnt going to fly.

       

      if need be, I will get this out of the new dealerships possession and put it back on elway if thats what needs to be done since they want to act like they did nothing and now its the new dealerships problem. And if they dont want to do the repairs then we will get the law involved.

      as to the warranty-elways should be paying for my extended warranty for all the poor work theyve done on my brand new vehicle.

      Why would you cancel my extended warranty on this lemon you sold me? I need the warranty now more than ever considering all the issues with it-1.) engine replaced. 2.)ongoing ac issues-ac compressor changed once and now having a second compressor put in.

      So since you cancelled my extended warranty without me approving, you can add it back on your dime.

      Upon further investigation, ****** had a conversation with ************, our Finance Director on or about 8/25/23, where he requested to have his warranty cancelled.  ***** in turn sent ****** this cancellation form via email.  He did not return it.  She did not cancel his warranty as she did not receive the returned from.  The extended warranty is still in place and ****** can contact them to request authorization for current or future repairs, as allowed within the contract, at another facility.

      Youre not walking away from this stating were no longer doing business with this customer. 

      you sold me a brand new 2023 Tahoe with many issues and every time you attempted to fix it, you created a new issue.

      The resale value of my truck has diminished immensely due to this-as no one who is looking to buy used wants to buy something thats been in the shop 300x for repairs and is still not repaired.
