Thieves and fraudsters. I am one of dozens whom paid for homes to be built. All money gone and no product delivered. Also, is in possession of my personal property valued at $600.

Revelations in Christ ministries has made zero effort to provide the product paid for, has no explanation for the $29k of my money and where it went.   Complete fraud. Ponzi Scheme successfully stole at least 750k from ppl across the nation.  Where is the money?  Homes not delivered, suppliers not paid and landlord evicted for nonpayment.  Where is the money??

Thank you for your questions about the progress of business.  We have sent several informative emails to all our customers on the status of the business and how we are moving forward.  Our company has produced almost 300 homes over the past 18 months.  All of those homes have been delivered and or picked up by customers.  This is the answer to the first question of where has all the money gone.  Our company, as many others, have been victim to a very volatile business climate in the construction industry.  Half of the 300 homes we have produced over the past 18 months were built at a loss due to the 600% price increase in materials that our industry faced from June of 2021 to May of 2022.  Unfortunately, we were forced to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy to insure that our business can continue to move forward and provide a refund to any customer that did not receive a home over the past year that has either paid in full or provided a deposit for that home.  Although the misguided, negative press against our company has caused many other problems in our efforts to move forward, we are still doing all we can to move forward so we can get this business healthy again to provide the refund that this customer is desiring.  The only way we can do that is to continue to build the best Tiny Home in the country at the best prices in the country.  That's how we began this company and that's how we will continue to try and maintain this company.

I am rejecting this response because:.  The response is as fraudulent as the entire organization.   300 homes were not built and/or delivered.  Show the proof!  Not available because it didn't happen.    Millions of dollars in customer money went straight to pockets of *************************** and his criminal colleagues.     Zero was utilized for the less fortunate.    Ponzi scheme at its finest.     The handful of delivered homes are unlivable.    Let's see the list of 300....  Why aren't they listed in the bankruptcy documentation?  You are Satan's warrior.

On 5/24/22 I purchased a tiny home for $49,520 and was assured it would be finished and delivered before winter. The agreed upon timeframe was that it would be finished by mid october at the latest. During the sales process **** was very responsive and I had an answer to every call or email within the same business day. I was told I needed to pay in full in order to recieve my house by mid October so I found a way to get the money needed and sent it in full. The first few weeks after that I got very delayed communication, then when I started asking about the delivery date there was no communication for weeks. I called, emailed, left messages, and heard nothing until I finally got through to ******, who told me that my build date had been pushed back to June of 2023 and that there was no way to get a refund until after the home was built and that they would not be able to move my date up any sooner. After this I sent an email with questions about why my build had been moved back so far, called and left messages on multiple numbers, and still have not heard back. My build was put behind an excessive number of speck homes even though I had paid in full specifically so that I would get my home within my necessary timeline. I am now seeing that other customers who purchased their homes after me are being promised earlier delivery dates and one customer (as expressed through a complaint on here) was promised a much earlier delivery date with a full and immediate refund should it not be ready by that date, and this was put *** a written contract. I expect to either have my home at an acceptable time or recieve a refund immediately. This is unacceptable.

Only one week ago, I wired full payment (48k) for a ****************************************************************** full and promised a 3 month turn around/delivery by mid December. I hesitated sending an initial wire of $9700, telling JP, our sales rep that the timeline seemed insecure and would just wait for the longer timeline without paying in full. ** responded saying I talked to the boss, were good to go. Send the money in full and you are 3rd in line with a 3 month or less timeframe...mid December. Telling me that's way better than waiting up to 11 months." I wired 38k that day. Holy Ground sent a random email 2 days ago. No context. Just a letter from **** and a damning article from the ************ My heart sank! I wanted to believe ****, but too much money on the line. Sent emails and texts immediately asking for a full refund. It had only been a week. No designs created. Nothing in motion. And yet, they have my money and I get zero response. JP was the most eager sales person I've worked with. Answering every call, every text over two weeks. Not missing a single text or call and there were many. And then I request a full refund and it's a ghost town from everyone at Holy Ground. Trying to give the benefit of doubt, I gave them until end of day yesterday to respond to my concerns and request or I was going to make complaints and engage an attorney. Nothing left to think, but FRAUD. Only one week!! I need to say this again, we have not designed a home, there's nothing in motion. It's only been one week. They have our money and won't respond. Most complaints are people who have been waiting months or even year/s and then asked for refund. One week. Absolutely nothing in motion, money in ***************** Crickets. Nothing. No response. This is scary!!!I expect an immediate full refund or no choice but to see legal counsel for fraud, contact ****** Gen. of *** and see if there's a class action forming. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. The owner of this business has recently been highly responsive and taken swift action to provide a detailed and signed contract with start date of my Tiny Home build (Oct 15th 2022), completion date (Dec 15th 2022) and delivery to my residence in ********** no later than (December 20th 2022). Full and immediate refund was agreed to and will be given if this business fails to meet contracted deadline. We put down a deposit in January for a tiny house. Our ONLY request was a 6 month delivery frame. This was extremely important to our life. not only do I not currently work and have all my savings tied up in the tiny, this was also supposed to be our source of income for the summer. In addition I gave up my place of living to be able to live in it after. Was told by **** no problem it will be ready 6 months. Then early summer I read a message in June that the company was behind because of Covid and dealing with financial trouble and to not bash online as to not disturb their spec sale programming and as such cause an issue like bankruptcy. As heartbreaking as this sounded , I Was actually even sympathetic to this. I spoke to ***** in June after many many attempts finally, and she promised me a built schedule in July. Since then I have left 10 messages and over 10 emails and have been ignored. Now THAT, is NOT ok. If you simply ignore your customer than what choice do you leave them but to file suit and complaint? ***********, either process a full refund for the deposit immediately or as promised, or provide the built schedule/date ,guaranteed by an email by Holy Ground.

      Complaint: 17777768

I am rejecting this response because:

Through one of your other customers i found out that you had written her this:
Your order has been given to me for production on my end through the spec homes. I start 5 new homes a week. I have been slowed down tremendously through negativity associated with our delays from customers, but we are working through those despite attempts to destroy our progress. This is what my next weeks look like on my production end of things:
Week 1 -  and then 4 names starting with mine which Im not allowed to reveal on BBB , but I have the original message forwarded to me by another customer of yours.  Yes, communication is so poor I have to find out through a customer. that apparantly my home will be built next week. and is on number 1 of the production schedule.

I attached it as a document.

This is juxtaposed to your BBB response. If you knew my build is coming up then why not say so? Anyways, I assume you are a man of your word, so i will. hold you to it.

      On little issue though:

NOBODY HAS REACHED OUT TO US REGARDING THE DETAILS AND FINISHES OF OUR BUILT!!!!!!!!
I want to be clear: DO NOT DELAY our build, because nobody has taken the time to reach out to us
"closer to our building slot" as promised by **** for the finishes.
I put this in writing so there is no mistaking: i put. some details in regards to finishes below. Furthermore i give you ************************* to make creative decisions as needed. Even if some of the decisions in regards to amenities raise the cost of the home somewhat. Just pretend you are building it to be sold for the spec program. We just want it built, at this point the details are much less important than simply the fact that it is built. We still ofcourse prefer communication, we just want to stop at all cost that not having the finishes would be the reason you delay our built. This would be unfair since YOU never have reached out to US the way we were told.

The size we ordered with the bedroom extension, this is the most important.
Furthermore in addition to the standard amenities we want:

      grey floors
      blue pine walls
      shed pitch roof line
      white board in the kitchen

      butcher blocks
we are willing to pay extra for
      composting toilet
      farmhouse sink
      maximum amount of stair drawers
      washer dryer hook up.

Any other decisions that need to be made, even if one of the above requests is not possible to fulfill, if you really cannot find the time to reach out to us to discuss ( as communication has been non. existent) I give you permission to make the decision for us. I will not hold it against you or after the fact complain I am not happy with xyz decision.
Even if one of the things on our wish list cannot be accomplished due to material shortage or other reasons, just swap it out for another decision.
You have this in writing. Just pretend you are building a spec house that is going on the market. But please do not come back to us and say you gave up our slot because you dont have the details.  I have your writing about the production spot black on white with my name on it, and I will hold you to it.
We are available to talk to you **** via email, text and phone so it certainly wont be communication on our end.

Please respond to us to confirm you received this, and that you will either have someone o  your team reach out to discuss finishes, or make the decisions independently.

Unless you write otherwise in your response, I will take your email to the customer with the built schedule as a written confirmation that you will build my house next week.

      All the best,

      L.****.

On May 24, 2022, I wired $50,000 to Holy ******************* I was promised a 10-week Spec Build. My home was to be delivered on July 31st. I visited the facility on June 15, 2022 and was reassured it would be ready. On July 19th I received a text from **** saying that he would check the status with *********************, owner. He called me back with **** in the room saying they would start it on August 1st for delivery around September 1st. When I called August 2nd to confirm they had began construction, I was told by ***** that it would be April 2023 before they would begin. I asked for a refund and was told they dont have a schedule for what month I might receive it. In other words, they dont have my money!I am an elderly, disabled single woman on a fixed income. $841.00/mo. My father passed last August and I received $50,000 in inheritance money. That is everything I own. I have been evicted and going to court on August 15th. I have no where to go. This ministry is bogus. November 2021, my boyfriend and I flew out to the Holy Grounds facility from ********** to see some examples of their tiny houses. We shortly after sent them $18,050 which was 50% of the overall cost of our build. The soonest we could have expected our house to arrive was April 2022. The entire 6 month period that we waited, we had no contact from the company, zero updates. We reached out to the company several times and waited weeks to get a response. Eventually we received a notification from the company stating that our build had now been delayed till August of 2022 we became very concerned about this and the extreme lack of customer care. We both are absolutely disgusted by what we have read about this company since we placed our order with them. The owner has taken everyones money with no intention of building their houses, like us, everyone is only just now figuring this out. The owner posted blaming this all on the pandemic and the state of the economy, but we ordered our house in the middle of this pandemic so this is no excuse. The owner also states that he is putting all of his existing clients builds on the back burner in order to sell tiny houses off the lot, in a desperate attempt to make money that he can use to complete the numerous builds that he has on back order. There are horrendous reviews on this company with everything from houses still not being delivered, customers being ghosted, houses arriving that are not built to code even though he claims they are certified, or peoples houses just never arriving whatsoever , the list could go on forever. We have given this company our money and have yet to receive goods for it. Our attorney sent the company a letter to which they have failed to reply. We are demanding our money back, they failed to meet the timeline that was agreed upon and have been extremely negligent. We refuse to wait for them to complete our build and sell it in order to be refunded. Sincerely, ************************* and *********************

I spoke with both **** and **** at length and then ordered a 28 tiny home on the condition that it would be delivered to my farm by late July as stated on the invoice. I was told the only way I could be guaranteed to get a home by Late July was to pay in full and wire the money. I explained that we had someone who was homeless working on our farm and it was very important that we could receive this as soon as possible. I was assured I could have it by late July. I borrowed the full amount of ********* and set it up as a 3 Month loan. As time got closer I called the phone number repeatedly but could not reach anyone. I sent several emails and finally received one from an employee who stated they had 8 houses in process and 4 were for older invoices( back from 2020 and 2021) and 4 for newer invoices. I was number 107 waiting on the new invoice list and it would be 26 to 27 months before going to production for my home. So it seems that there were 107 people waiting on the new invoice list when I paid $46,504 on March 29 and was told I would have a house by the end of July. It seems there is no way with the waiting list they had that I was told the truth about the expected timeline. Yet, I was told to wire the money in order to get the house by July. I have to pay this loan back with interest and I expect a prompt and full refund of my money. I can send the emails I received and sent if that documentation is needed. I appreciate your help in facilitating a refund of my money due to the fact that the company did not do what they said they would. My other acceptable resolution would be to have the house as listed on the invoice delivered by end of July.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution requires more definition to be able to say it is acceptable or not acceptable.

**************** says "he will try to expedite beyond the current schedule (which the current timeframe stated by his employee is ***** months from now before production could begin). He does say to get the house delivered either on time(which would be end of July) or close to on time. If that is not possible we will look for other solutions."

He says, "as of now we are not late". This is true and if he can deliver the house to my address in ********* as stated on the invoice by last day of July I accept his resolution. His statement, "if this is not possible we will look for other solutions " is too vague for  me to say I would accept the solution.

I hope you may be able to ask for more clarification from Nr. ******. My acceptable resolution is to have the house that I paid for or a full refund by the timeframe I was told which is July 30th.

On April 1, 2022 I purchased a 28' tiny home from Ministries In Christ (invoice attached) . I was told by *********************, the *** that if I paid in full and wired the money I would have the house by the end of July 2022, but only if I prepaid in full. I contacted the company to check on the progress of my home with no returned emails or phone calls. Finally, I received a response which is also on the attached timeline document. The basic information conveyed was that the information I was given April 1, 2022 was untrue They had 107 "new builds" ahead of me. There was no way to deliver a house to me by July 2022. The email stated, "You fall in the new invoice group. This calendar is no where close to being final but currently I see you at number 107. What does 107 mean? You are 107th next in line to enter production. I have 4 positions for new invoices - 107 divided by 4 = *****. In short, you are approximately 26 to 27 months away from going into production. I am apologizing as I know this is not what was communicated to you at the time of sale. I understand that your invoice reads SPEC Late July 2022 but that timeframe is not realistic with the way we are moving forward with business operations. I know, this is not the news you want to hear nor is it news I find joy in relaying. I am looking forward to getting your farm hand into a TINY home as well. Unfortunately, it will be later than what was originally communicated to you. " The crux of this is that if on April 1, 2022 there were 107 people ahead of me , then he had no intention of delivering the ordered home by July 2022. My understanding of fraud would include telling someone something untrue in order to get money from them. I previously filed a complaint with the BBB and ********************* replied that the time was not up and he was trying to fulfill the order. There has been no communication and at this time the only resolution is a full refund of the $46,505.

I am rejecting this response because:It gives no detail of when I will receive my refund. I was told if I paid in full on April 1, 2022 I would have a home by end of July 2022, but only if I prepaid in full, which I did. I was NOT told that I was number 177  of "new Home buyers" in line for a home and it would be 2-3 years before delivery. I would not have borrowed the money to buy the home if I was told up front that the company needed by money too complete other orders they were behind on from 2 years ago. I specifically was told delivery of July 2022. Our farm is a 501c3 charitable non-profit.We grow food for folks in need. This home was for a farmer who has no home. I borrowed money to get this home with the understanding I would have it in 3 months. Now the company says it will be 2-3 years and If I make any comments stating the truth of this matter that he will file bankruptcy and I will receive nothing.

The only acceptable response from the business is to have what I ordered delivered or a full refund.

      Sincerely,

      ***************************

On January 13th 2022 I wire transferred ********************** my entire life savings- $42,275. This was after several phone calls in which I was promised repeatedly that my tiny home would be delivered by August 1st 2022. Every time Ive spoken to the company since they have stuck to that August 1st delivery date. After 2 months of ignored emails, voicemails and texts I drove all the way to ******** to visit their office where I was told that my tiny house is 50th in a line of 170 houses that have not been started. After saving carefully throughout my entire life to make sure I was never put in this position, I am literally homeless and have no savings after investing all I have earned throughout my life into this home. I am 24 with no house, no money and absolutely nothing to fall back on. I demand that Holy Ground keeps their promise and delivers my tiny house by the end of August.

************** is correct.  We have suffered some set backs over the past few months but have not stopped moving forward.  The only thing that can stop us from fulfilling orders is not selling new orders.  We must sell new orders through our spec program to keep the older orders working.  ************** saw at our facility that we are working hard each and every day to fulfill orders.  We will not stop doing that.  We will do our best to complete her house and work with her until the house is delivered.Tell us why here...
