Hello, I have been trying to resolve this $361 complaint from December 2021 for months now. I have made several calls, and written letters. The last time I called I was told to call my insurance company. As the enclosed documents show, the services on December 1, 2021 were denied. There are only 3 possible reasons for this and all of them require the participation to resolve. (1) UCHealth used an out of network provider, something I did not authorize and have not given consent for (in accordance with surprise billing laws), or (2) UCHealth filed the claim wrong and it was denied, which could only happen if UCHealth submitted the wrong codes since I met the out of pocket ***imum with my insurance company many, many months previous to December 1, 2021, or, (3) something else UCHealth did wrong that I have no ability to see. UCHealth must resolve this charge on their own, I do not owe this money since I met the out of pocket *** in July of 2021 and do not authorize out of network providers to work on my case without prior written consent, in accordance with law.
