  We boarded our dog Daisy from 3/7 - 3/24 due to a family emergency to Atlanta. It was the only place available during spring break. She weighed 55 lbs when we dropped her off on the 7th. We picked her up and she weighed 45 lbs was was just bones. We called from Atlanta frequently and the whole time they lied and said she was eating good. She got bit by a big dog so they put her with the small dogs. The big dogs were barked my at the other side of the fence at her and stepped backwards where there was a little dog that surprised her so she bit it. I got no proof of that. She was traumatized when we picked her up. She was never like that as she is a very happy go lucky dog. The place is run poorly, don’t have enough help. We are taking her to the vet Monday. She’s also dehydrated. We would like our money back for this heartache.

  Dear Clay I am responding to complaint ************** I spoke with my people who worked with Daisy Everybody said she had a very good time mostly walking around with a ball in her mouth running back and forth with any dog playing fetch. Her first week she was very happy, playing and eating regular. Around the second week she started to only want to eat one meal a day. If I would have been informed about this I would have helped them with getting her to eat. We now have a scale to weigh the dogs here 3 days or more. I feel badly the she lost weight but I doubt she plays 8 hours a day when at home and burned way more calories than normal. She was involved in one issue, completely not her fault, she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and got a small puncture on the top of her head and was scabbing over almost immediately. ******** had contacted Dad and told him there was no need for her to go to the vet as it was cleaned and neosporine applied. The other one was more complicated. There was a group of dogs barking and Daisy got involved. ******* was in group and was separating the dogs when ****** went behind ******* and Daisy and Daisy turned and grabbed ****** by the neck and would not let go until another employee was banging on the fence and she let go. ****** had a injury under her chin in the neck area where Daisy had ahold of her. ****** did have to go to the vet and the bill was over $700 dollars. I did not ask them to pay for this as I have the legal right to from the liability form they filled out. All owners were made aware of the situation at the time of the incident. Dad called me after checkout and told me about the weight loss. I am always very unhappy to hear about this and staff knows how much I care about the dogs eating regular due to how much more exercise the get in this situation. He seemed to understand. It was a bit later when my employees told me about all of the negative comments that were being posted to **** ****, ******, **** and now you. I was not even called by the mom to try and resolve anything she just went crazy slandering me all over the place. I don't have anything more to say other than that Daisy was most likely extremely tired after being with us for 17 nights and to be lethargic is completely normal. If there is a vet bill saying that she was dehydrated and needed fluids I would love to see that. Thank you Valerie W***** Owner Rogue's Farm

  I don’t think you have enough knowledgeable people working there. My dog has never been aggressive before. I believe she was under a lot of stress. Losing 10 lbs on a 55 lb dog is too much weight loss. She weighed more after we got her from the humane society. She was a stray at an Indian reservation in NM and just came in when we adopted her. I doubt a few stitches cost $700. I used to work for a vet so I know. Maybe your place is too crowded to handle the amount of dogs. I have never had this happen before at my usual boarding place. I don’t want to hear excuses I want results.

  Daisy was in a yard of 15 dogs with one handler.  This is common practice and the law determined by the Department of Agriculture.  ******* vet bill was indeed over $700 and I am not asking this bill be paid by you at this time but my liability form does state you are responsible for any injuries to another dog.  Daisy played ball and ran every day and enjoyed her time with us very much.  Being tired after 17 days at a boarding facility is normal.  If you can produce a vet bill showing dehydration and weight loss I would appreciate seeing that.  We are not saying she is an aggressive dog in any way it was I am sure just the situation at that time.  Dogs can react to certain stimulus in very different ways than normal.  Daisy was taken very good care of while with us.  I do not doubt she lost some weight but doubtful 10 pounds.  We are actually very well staffed and the yards are not crowded unless the dogs choose to be in one area together.  You are welcome to come see the size of my play yards...they are very large.  As I stated before you have already slandered me and my business all over the internet at this point.  I do not even know who ***** Shay is.  This is not the people who boarded Daisy.   She was not stressed she had lots of fun.
