I hired Rocky Mountain Off Grid in Colorado to install a solar system on my RV and the system doesn’t work worth a damn. I paid a $3000 deposit on 10/5/21 before the work was started. I arrived at Rocky Mountain Off Grid on 10/9/21. He didn’t start installing it until 10/11/21. Work was completed on 10/13/21 and the remaining of $14,341.86 was also paid on 10/13/21. Since then the system has needed maintenance 2 times and he came to me because it was close. I’ve called and text him numerous times because the system now has almost stopped working all together. I’m now having to run a generator constantly to keep my batteries charged because the massive solar panels he installed don’t bring in anywhere near enough to power them. The system has some serious issues and he refuses to respond to me now. I wanted a full refund for this garbage equipment. This system is not worth $17,341.86 at all. This man scammed me and I want my money back.Business response

My name is ******* *******. I'm the complaint in this matter. I truly regret my overreacting to my solar issue. I later found out ***** was not returning calls simply because it was a holiday weekend and he was out of town. I was frustrated because I was getting enough solar to my system and let my frustrations get the best of me. He responded after I made the complaint and I wasn't able to retract it. He helped me resolve my solar problem right away. In all honesty he has always been 100% prompt in returning my calls and troubleshooting over the phone. I am requesting this matter with BBB to be resolved and or deleted due to my overreaction. ***** never disregarded my calls nor does he disregard any customer. I will continue to do business with him and would refer him to anyone. If there are any further questions feel free to call me or email me.
