I needed to modify my reservation with Ridgeline Hotel, I tried to reach the hotel directly multiple times to modify our reservation. I ended up talking to Choice Hotels, who manage this hotel and talked to multiple employees. All stated they would try to transfer me to the front desk, all failed and I was either hung up on or transferred back into the loop system. I tried again later, even though it was after the cancellation time, and talked for four more individuals over 40 minutes of time, again no one could help me. I was advised to call again on Sunday. I called multiple times on Sunday and finally talked to Lois at the front desk. She stated she stated she was the manager. She canceled our reservation for the 31st of October and booked our hotel for November 3rd. Due to the looping and no one being able to assist us we were out of the 48 hour cancel period but I just wanted to modify it. I called to cancel for the 3rd because I never got the cancel information and was told it wasn't canceled. I will not pay for this hotel. My daughter has covid which was why I started trying to modify it in the first place. I am extremely disappointed. I talked to Lois and she said it was canceled.I called back today to verify it was canceled, and was told our reservation was never canceled. I no longer want to stay at this hotel even on the 3rd of November due to their poor business practices and unhelpful service. They scam people. They are unethical and terrible. I refuse to pay for either date, and will not stay with them. I tried to cancel for 11/3 and no one has the confirmation number to do that, they stated I have to call the front desk. They make it impossible to cancel. Please investigate this business practices. Try calling their numbers and see if you can get through. The workers are just doing their jobs, they are probably being paid lowly wages by this awful company.
