Client booked online for a two hour session. The email confirmation and website have our 24 hour cancellation policy in detail. Client called to cancel due to wind, which she later stated was not very bad. Client proceeded to try to get out of paying due to wind, then time of appointment, then cutting massage short. The client was rude to receptionist and therapist. All other statements are included in clients email conversation where I point out my case. Simply put client tried to get out of payment starting early morning and when was not successful made further false accusations.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I am not "simply trying to get out of paying" As someone who is from Ohio, and not used to 80+ mph winds (as documented by the National Weather Service) I was legitimately concerned about my safety. After speaking with my hotel, they told me I should be totally fine to drive, especially since the distance from my hotel to the business was a short one. I was looking forward to the massage I had booked, and let the staff know upon my arrival that the wind turned out to be no big deal. At no point was I rude to my therapist, the receptionist, or anyone else for that matter. The business owner was not on site while I was there, so she truly has no idea what my demeanor was like. If they have security cameras in their lobby I would suggest they submit the tapes to BBB as you'll be able to see and hear my interactions with the staff at the business. Again, I am in no way "simply trying to get out of paying". I have never made a complaint against a business via BBB, and I am doing so strictly based on this business's unprofessionalism and horrid customer service.

I have attached two statements. One is from the massage therapist and one is from the receptionist. Please review and let me know if you have any questions.Customer response

Complaint: 20989851
I am rejecting this response because: the statements from both the receptionist (who works offsite and never saw me in person), and the therapist are false. I was never rude, mean, hostile, or otherwise to anyone, despite their profound lack of professionalism. Again, I would love for this business to submit security camera footage so you can see how I interacted with the staff at this business. I did state it was the worst massage I've ever had, and that I wanted to discuss the matter with a manager, especially when I was told I would need to pay for the full two hours even though I left after one, and the first hour was terrible. I did not contradict myself about the pressure of my massage as the receptionist suggested. Instead, she cut me off repeatedly and would not allow me to speak. This is not a case of a client simply not wanting to pay as they have suggested. It is a client trying to bring awareness to their terrible business practices. I will continue to stand by my story and not be railroaded by this business' lies.
Regards,
Danielle Borowicz
