Hello, my name is Gabriela Munoz. I am filing this complaint about The Verge Greeley, Colorado. To explain why I will first start off with, I have been trying to move out since about the end of September and I had let them know multiple times and I asked for help on how to do it and many times they weren’t helpful at all. I am trying to break my lease because I let them know I was going to move out a few months ago and now they are telling me I have to either pay 650+9 more months or find someone to take my spot. They will not help me find anyone which doesn’t make sense to me because they found someone to take our empty room which is the third bedroom. I had multiple people come look at the apartment, and they all said no I’m assuming because it’s disgusting where the mold is and stinks no matter how hard I try to maintain clean my roommates mess it up .Back in August my apartment had a huge leak that maintenance took about a week to even come look at. This causes mold to grow in my apartment. Every day when I walk into my apartment, I can smell the mold. I’m concerned for my health. The day the leak happened I called them because it was overflowing all over the kitchen and no one ended up coming. I did it all myself, but I had let them know that I see mold, and nothing was done about it. I have two other roommates (one moved out yesterday without letting the verge know) they don’t work or attend school and none of them help me clean anything or throw away anything so trash piles are upon and I’m sure creates more mold. My roommate has animals that roam around the house and all of my food has cat hair on it so I can’t even enjoy it. The old food in the fridge that is not mine never gets thrown out. There’s mold in the sink that has been there since I believe August too. I just deep cleaned everything yesterday but I do have pictures of some of the mold and I have a few emails of when I reached out to the verge. Most of it was done over the phone.
