On March 22, 2022 Solo Heating and Electric (***************************) submitted an estimate for the electrical work and some HVAC work to be completed in my basement. We agreed on the price and **** was able to start the project on April 5, 2021. On April 15th I paid for the rough-in portion. **** had scheduled to come out and restart the project on the 29th of April (which he canceled), then on the 30th of April (which he canceled), again on the May 1st (which he canceled), and then again for the Monday the 2nd, which he was a no-show. At this time I had a text conversation on May 2nd with **** around his commitment to my project. During this conversations I reached out multiple times via phone to discuss, **** did not answer. During the text conversation he once again committed to coming out on Tuesday the 3rd. I said that he has committed multiple times and canceled that I no longer believe he was telling me the truth. I told him that I feel like I am "being played". With that, he told me I was "drunk, or on medication, or crazy". He told me to call in the morning "when I was sober". (I have the text messages to prove as needed). He also stated "I'm out. This is really strange. If you want any money back let me know. I don't need this crazy (expletive)" There was further text around my wonderings if he would have talked to a male in this way. I mentioned that just because I called him out on his lack of commitment and follow through does not mean alcohol or medication is at play and that these were unacceptable accusations! My response to the refund: "So you are offering a refund, I accept" I emailed a request as well, and stated I will be contacting the BBB and other social media to give a review on services and communication. I am now at a disadvantage when it comes to completing my project. It is difficult to find contractors that will do half of a project. And, I have already spent $1500! I am wanting a refund (as offered). I am requesting $1,000 refund
