On 6/7/2022, I contacted Armada Moving Company and spoke with the owner, Landon W******, about scheduling a residential move on 6/29/2022, with particular concern about moving a specific piece of antique furniture. I was assured that the move and the piece of furniture would not be a problem. We agreed on a three man crew at $220/hour. I received a confirmation email from Mr. W****** on 6/7/2022. On 6/29/2022, the crew leader informed me that the move was scheduled to take three hours; it took eight hours and the men did not move the antique piece of furniture to the requested location because they said that they were hot and tired. In the two days following the move, I discovered damage to my personal property and the residential property and jewelry and a bag of ********* tools missing. I contacted Armada on 7/1/2022 and spoke with a female employee about the damaged and missing property. She left a voicemail later that day requesting photos of the damages and informing me that the crew had taken my tools, which were returned on 7/2/2022. Mr. W****** came to my home on 7/6/2022 to assess the damages. I was not asked about the monetary value of the damaged property and lost jewelry. He said he would be in contact about the claim. I did not hear from Mr. W****** and called Armada on 8/25/2022 and spoke with a male employee who said that Mr. W****** would be in contact. I did not hear from Mr. W****** and called Armada on 9/14/2022 and spoke with a male employee who said that Mr. W****** would be in contact. I received an email from Mr. W****** on 9/15/2022 stating that he would be mailing a check for $117.00 as his assessment for the damaged property and requesting my address. I sent a return email on 9/16/2022 with my address. This is the same address stated in the confirmation email on 6/7/2022, used with the move on 6/29/2022, where the tools were delivered on 7/2/2022, and where Mr. W****** came to assess the damages on 7/6/2022. I have not received payment.
