In august 2021 I signed up for a course in december 2021. At the time I was also going to school at the ********** ** *******. The first week of class december 6th to the 10th is also had finals at the ********** ** *******, and when I originally signed up they said that wouldn't be a problem and I could miss a few days the first week. Come december 6th my father had died the week prior and I called and told them and left a voicemail on monday I coupdnr make class because I had to pick up my fathers ashes. Come tuesday i show up thinking everything is ok and I was ready for class, well I got kicked out the girl said the owner kicked me out and she said I never said anything about my dad dying and blatantly lied to my face. At this point I was pretty angree but let things cool off and waited for a phone call from them because they said they woupdnt refund my 500 but woupd sign me up for a future class. Its now march 2022 and I havent heard anything from them. In tired of dealing with these people and just want my 500 back so I can never bother with them ever again. I figured i would take this to BBB before I take legal action. At this point its more than the money, they need to play for all their lies and lack of communication. That cant just steal 500 from me and think I woupd just got away. If they wouldve just given me my money back after kicking me out on december I would have no issues but they keep dragging this out.

***** did not communicate to anyone at our school that he was going to miss the first day of the course. We have limited space for enrollment and an active waiting list; we avoid having vacancies whenever possible.

We have been in operation for 20+ years and ***** was presenting telltale signs that this course was not for him. We reached out to him on the first day of class and left a message with no follow up. When students don’t show up to class, don’t call or inform us of potential tardiness, they almost always drop the course. If they do continue to attend, they fall behind and become problematic to our strict schedule and other students’ training. They rarely successfully complete the course and earn a CDL, which is a waste of their money. We had to cancel the course for ***** and below confirms that it was the right choice.

When ***** voluntarily signed our cancellation contract, he was made fully aware that he was not going to get his deposit back and that he was not eligible to enroll in future classes. This is a standard practice, here at our school. Days after the cancelation signing, we received vulgar emails from ***** stating that he was, “Starting a War” with us and “He Was Going to Take Us Down”. I instructed my office clerk to stop responding as it was clear that it was only going making things escalate and that he had no intent on having a conversation to discuss a refund or re-enrollment. I was correct.

(Please note that on the day of cancellation, ***** never mentioned any of the details in his BBB complaint with his father passing and courses at the ********** ** ******* overlapping with our course before he signed the cancelation contract. The information ***** provided in the complaint is all after the fact.)

In the last 24 hours we have received over 100+ harassing texts, emails, and calls from Brice. We have asked him repeatedly to stop via email, text, and verbally over the phone. ***** has been making Derogatory comments throughout all of his communication towards myself and my Office Clerk. I will not have my Office Clerk subjected to being called a Cunt, a Bitch and even being told to have her Perform Fellatio on Brice’s Penis. I am all about 1st amendment rights, but this is over the top; it’s disgusting, unnecessary and unacceptable.

***** was offered a full refund today, not to admit fault on our end – we’ve done nothing wrong – but to get him to stop harassing us and put this to rest. ***** declined a full refund. He is currently demanding to attend our June course.

NCTDA will not be extorted with erroneous claims and be harassed into providing a service to a belligerent bully. We contacted the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department mid-morning on March 1st because of the harassment and have filed a complaint. Knowing this, ***** continued to contact us with derogatory messages. It is my job to create a safe environment for of all my employees and students. Brice’s behavior is a threat and it is being taken seriously to the highest levels.

Nick Yunker – President of NCTDA

Note: We have copies of the emails, voicemails and texts and can make them available for review if needed.

***** did reach out to us this morning 3/2/22 apologizing for this behavior and the communication he had with myself and staff.
