  They installed two tile balthroom showers this past July. The work is faulty due to loose tiles, poor drainage, not properly sealed & misalignment of tiles. I contacted ****** the owner of this company several times via ********* has not responded. I paid $3500. for ************* paid him $7000. for the work. I can't reuse the materials so I am requesting the full amount refunded, so I can hire someone else to do the job. ****** has insurance so he should obtain the money from that resource. ****** is not a licensed contractor so I cannot go through ****.

  Hola mi nombre es ***** Dueo de HD custom stonework * si hicimos el trabajo a la clienta ****** * Despus de casi 8 meses miro q esta a disgusto x el trabajo en ningn momento me negu a reparar el trabajo* lo q pasa q se le hizo un trabajo en una chimenea ********* y quedo un total de $1200 dlares en cuanto le cobre el trabajo empez a darme excusas para pagarme en el ltimo mensaje q le mande en enero 7 le pedi que me dijiera que da podra ir para reparle los daos para q m pudiera pagar y de ah me dijo q ya no quera q fuera por que otra gnero los iba a reparar y q quera que le regresara el dinero que me haba pagado* lo cual se me hace injusto por que me ofrec arreglarlo y ahora quiere que le pague los baos completos * Pero no me quiere pagar lo que **** me debe ami *estoy dispuesto a reparar los daos y estoy *** dando la cara *

  I am rejecting this response because I have all the documented correspondence & ****** is incorrect on what he is stating.

  It has been 6 months, since the tile work has been done in 2 bathrooms.  The grout is coming out & areas of the grout is cracking. The tiles are falling out.  Upon professional inspection, there is no sealant in or on the grout, the tiles are uneven, the drainage is not properly installed.  The 2 entire bathrooms need redone it is not repairable.  ****** never offered to repair the bathrooms, he never responded to this matter at all.

  I am following up on Complaint # ******** regarding HD Custom Stone Work LLC.  
  
  The two showers are not in accordance with Teller County Code for workmanship & functionality.  The tiles are falling off after the six months that the work was completed & the showers are not draining properly. 
  
  I would like the owner of the company of HD Custom Stone Work LLC to contact their insurance company to handle this matter.  ****** (owner) has insurance that he needs to file a claim.  
  
  Please let me know if HD Custom Stone Work LLC will file a claim so that the showers can be redone properly.

  I try to always answer do you know this lady trying to get me in trouble I did everything she said I did everything she wanted and now when I send a message if she could pay me the money she owes me she tries to get more money I don't think is fair. I ask and tell her I can fix everything and she told no y want someone else to come and fix it.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  I paid over $10,500. For the 2 showers to be completed; this includes materials & labor.  I had the 2 showers inspected & they did not pass. 
  The Inspectors reported that the tiles are not flush (even)against the wall.  The tiles are not in line with each other & offset.  The showers do not drain properly because of the pan underneath & the improper installation of the drain.  The tiles are coming off.  The grout is not sealed & the grout is cracking. 
  

  There is no way to repair this damage unless all the tiles of the showers are removed.  The tiles will be damaged when removed & are not going to be able to be reused.  This was the report from several inspectors on the job that HD Custom Stonework LLC, completed. 
  This company does not have the experience or knowledge how to install showers.  The proof is in the finished project.  I am not trying to get them in trouble but I dont want them to do this to another customer.  Their expertise is in stonework not in tile work. 
  

  I need HD Custom Stonework LLC to reimburse me the total amount that I paid in materials & labor which is $10,500.  They can do this by filing a claim through their insurance company which they insisted that they have before they did any work for me. 
  

  If I do not receive reimbursement, I have no choice but to file a complaint and proceed with a court hearing. 
  I will need a response by March 14th or I will go to court.

  I would like to reject the offer of Mediation for complaint ID ********.

  Thank you for your offer.  However,  I firmly believe that this will not resolve the issue.

  Please forward my previous email to ****** so he can respond with his decision by March 14th, if he wants to resolve it or if I need to go to claims court.
