My dispute with this company is that they billed me for a service that was never performed. On July 25, I contacted R&A Enterprises to service a lighting malfunction in my rented out condo, I spoke with Kevin who told me their service would be three weeks out. My son Connor, who occupies my condo with his family, told me after 4 weeks that he still had not heard from R&A or their serviceman. On August 22, I hire a third party handyman to replace a light switch which resolved my lighting issue, On Friday October 27, I receive a bill in the mail from R&A Enterprises in the amount of $115.00 for service performed on July 11 by his serviceman Greg, ( Invoice # A38634 dated 10/23/2023) On 10/31 I called R&A to discuss this invoice and could only leave a voice message. Kevin returns my call the next afternoon and I explained my confusion over this invoice I've received. Kevin said he would confirm this billing with his serviceman and get back to me. The next day i get another call from Kevin who tells me he spoke to Greg and he confirms he spent an hour to an hour and a half inside my condo and could not get my lights to malfunction. Kevin tells me the billing is accurate although he admits the date of service was in error. I then contact my son Connor to confirm that he did not allow access to any service personnel for an hour or more into our secured access building. Connor confirms that he would certainly remember if he had admitted anyone into our building for that length of time and he had not. It is my opinion that this invoice is not legitimate and I should not pay it.Business response

In response to the complaint filed by James Miller, we agree to void invoice #A38634 and sincerely apologize for our error. We have discovered that our technician was at the address, but was working in a different unit, owned and managed by someone else. We regret not looking into it deeper after your phone call. We relied on our vehicle tracking software that showed he was at the address (different unit) and when we spoke to our technician, he mixed up the jobs. Our apologies!! We have voided invoice #A38634.
