In April 1922 we contracted with Heirloom Estate Sales/Joann J***** to hold an estate sale in our home in the Summer of that year. At that time we gave her seven items of art (paintings & sculptures) to begin to try and sell at her location and online. These items were valued in excess of $7500. In July she held the estate sale and paid us for the items sold. A number of items remained unsold, some of which were donated to charity. The remaining approximately 15-20 items of art she agreed to take to her location and attempt to sell. These items were valued in excess of $5500. None of the original items given to her in April or the remaining items left from the estate sale have been reported as sold. We would contact her every couple of months to get a progress report and she always had some reason why nothing had yet been old. Occasionally she would report that a sale was pending and we should be receiving a check soon. No payments have ever been received. For the past month we have tried to contact her, calling nine times and leaving seven messages asking to call us back. Her personal phone is not accepting messages; her business phone goes straight to voice mail where we have left seven messages. Her listed business address is no longer valid and I have no other way of contacting her.

I hired Joanne J*****, owner of Heirloom Estate Sales to have an estate sale for my mother on Sept, 2021. My mother had been an antique dealer, stained glass window maker and sold native American jewelry pottery, rugs, kachinas, original paintings and baskets thoughout the years. The collection to be sold was large. She had a vast amount of antique furniture, glassware, Roseville pottery, china, dolls, vintage jewelry, clothing, antique pictures, clocks, housewares, lots of stained glass, supplies and vintage Fiestaware; it took up 3 floors of a large house, garage and two story outbuilding. We had to have a second sale; the second sale was in October 2021. The contract I signed with Joanne states " Records, receipts and payment: within 30 business days after the conclusion of the sale and a written summary of the results of the sale results showing the gross sale proceeds, itemized fee and expenses deducted, and net proceeds distributable to you. The client will receive a check within 35 days following the sale, less expenses, payable to the signature on the estate sale agreement." The proceeds of the sale was supposed to go to The ********* ****** *****. We talked about that at the time I signed the contract. I never heard from Joanne after that and went in to her shop on Nov 19, 2021 but she was not there. I told the shopkeeper about it and texted Joanne to remind her. I have yet to receive payment or any phone calls from Joanne regarding this.
