I purchased a greenhouse in April of 2022 and as of July 2022 have not received this item though it was initially estimated to be shipped the end of May 2022. They charged my credit card on the date of purchase. I would have to repeatedly call the number on the site for any shipping updates and they wouldn't provide the tracking info to me- I had to rely on their word. While I understand there are many "supply chain issues" post-COVID pandemic, I would have expected more initiative in communicating any issues to my order or more transparency with shipping/tracking policies by this company. I ended up calling the manufacturers in PA and the distributor, ******** in ** who told me they don't do backorders and that they never rec'd any order from Better Shopping USA in either April or May for my order as they would ship it directly to me once they received this order. I confronted Better Shopping USA about this and was informed that they don't place the order until the distributor has it in stock (however, it was shown as "in stock" at the time of purchase on BetterShoppingUSA.com). And according to Better Shopping USA they "internally" handle back orders. I don't quite know what that means. Of course I requested a full refund to be credited back to my credit card. However, as they use PayPal, in the transaction verification for the refund shows a deduction for the PayPal refund fee of $73.74. This was quite the headache. Luckily I had the time and know-how to get to the bottom of this but I shouldn't have had to. I hope others can be made aware of this and learn from my mistake as according to the manufacturer representative I spoke to, they had heard from the distributor that they've had several issues with this company in the past.
