August 2021 I went in to get a consolation also having them check to make sure it was covered under my insurance for having my wisdom teeth removed because they accepted my new dental insurance. I went in and had my visit they sat me down and handed me a piece of paper stating how much I would owe and how much my insurance was going to cover. I paid $1,200 which was my portion. I went in had the surgery and I was on my way. Then about 5 months later I have another tooth that needs to removed so naturally I called the place that did my wisdom teeth. I scheduled an appointment and when I went in they sat me down and said I owe $4,000 for my wisdom teeth that my insurance did not cover any of the surgery and I started to cry saying you ran my insurance and gave me my portion well I called ***** and they never ran my insurance and come to find out due to my age my insurance does not cover wisdom teeth. I called a week later talked with someone in the office about the situation was supposed to get a call back and have hared nothing. They are calling me and sending me bills and I paid my portion considering the paper they gave me that they ran my insurance.Business response

******* ****** came to our office 8/26/2021 for a consolation. She was provided with an estimate of insurance coverage. ******* signed, acknowledging receipt of the estimate and agreed to pay any unpaid balances due. Patient was in a waiting period with her insurance therefor insurance did not covered her procedure. Patient was notified and placed on a payment plan when she came in for a second procedure on 3/10/22. Payments were denied on 4/15/22, 5/16/22, and 6/15/22. A collection letter notice was sent on 6/6/22. Further payments have not been received.
