We closed on our father's home on January 14 and I asked that my portion of the funds be wired to my bank. I was told we closed to late for it to be done that day and Monday was a holiday so it would be completed on Tuesday. Wednesday afternoon I check with my bank and no money had been received and then I checked with the title company and I talked to three different people before I was told they were contacted by the City of Evans and had to withhold money for the final water bill. This was not included in the closing documents and my brother received a check on closing day so they took the full amount out of my portion and the money had not been wired. I was then contacted by someone in a different First American Title office and was told they didn't have the correct wire information. On Thursday I did finally receive my fund less the amount they failed to withhold at closing. My concern is they had not contacted me about the change in my funds or that they had any issue wiring the funds. It 4 business days for a wire funds transfer to take place when it should be within hours. I believe I should have been contact on Tuesday and made aware of the change in my funds and also that there was a wire issue. To this day I still have not received a corrected settlement page.
