AMI in ******** was the former management company for my community's homeowner association. They were replaced with a different property management company in the middle of last year.Today, I (along with many of my neighbors) received documents from a community in ******* that they manage. I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with any of these properties in *******.One of our community delegates posted in our community's ************** that he reached out to our former contact with AMI and confirmed that this was an error on AMI's part.This indicates that there are several problems. First off, there is no reason for any of my information to be in their systems anymore. The same applies for most if not all of my neighbors. But more concerning is the fact that they are misusing my information and do not have it in any form of secure storage. There is no reason at all that I should be attached to any condominium associations in *******. My data has been mismanaged by them, and I have concerns about their data security, and the potential for identity theft as a result of the lack of their security protocols.I wish for any and all information of me, my wife, and my children if applicable be scrubbed from all of their databases.Business response

We apologize for the inconvenience of receiving this annual meeting notice mailing. This was a clerical error by a team member in training. We are required by policy to keep the data we managed during our tenure. The name and address of owners is also public record and there is no other personal data kept. We have strong privacy protocols and we have addressed the training and procedure with the employee. Again, we sincerely apologize for this clerical error and any inconvenience or confusion this may have caused.
