      I ordered a AAA to my house for a flat tire change. The person came but did not have a 7/8th inch lug nut tool to take off the lugs nuts on my vehicle. I called AAA to get another driver out. After waiting the whole day, as I called at 1:45 pm for the original call, finally at around 9pm I was called let me know no one was coming to help me that day. The next day I was called and told that the company who came out the previous day was the only company they employed in my area. If I did not was them to tow me elsewhere to get my tire changed they could not help me. What did I pay *** for in my membership? So now I am waiting for the tow from the company who did not have the tools to change my tire to tow me somewhere else to get to get my tire changed. I am being told by *** that if there is a cost from the garage, I am bringing it to they may or may not reimburse me for any additional charges. What a joke AAA is.

      I was a car insurance policy holder with triple AAA for six months. To my chagrin, I woke up and saw that the company had auto drafted my renewal and my rates had increased by over $60 per month. I immediately sought alternative insurance and went on to cancel my AAA policy. During that process, I was told there would be a $50 cancellation fee, which actually ended up being $60 because I was only refunded $83 from the charged $143. I was told my this representative to call back and speak with a supervisor who would be able to wave that cancellation for me. I just got off the phone with AAA and their supervisor *****************************, and not only did she refuse to refund me the $50 charge or the additional $10 that was taken off in error. She was disrespectful and condescending and tried to make me feel like I was in the wrong for requesting a refund. it is an unethical business practice to raise someones rates and then charge them a cancellation fee to penalize them for choosing to go elsewhere and do business with another company. The agent I spoke with before the supervisor said she had never heard of the cancellation fee and was confused saying what cancellation fee so obviously this is a new practice they are doing that even their employees arent universally aware of. I need $60 refunded to the card they charged. immediately, which was illegally taken. You cant raise someones rates nearly 70% and then say you have to stay with us and take our higher rates or will extort you financially if you try to leave. Im a full time graduate student and my partner is disabled. We live on a very limited income and $60 makes a significant difference in our lives. Thats the difference between food for the week or not. Or having gas to get to class or not. Your assistance with this matter is much appreciated. Importantly! I never got any policy renewal documents or notifications that my rates were going to be raised.

      After reviewing the policy AAA sent four separate notices regarding the change in premium to the renewal policy. The renewal notice was sent on 7/11/24. A bill, an auto pay schedule, and a notice of the policy being on auto pay were all sent on 7/25/24 (see attached). Also, attached is a copy of the auto application, please see the highlighted portion on page four that states the policy is subject to a $50 cancelation fee if canceled prior the renewal. The additional $10 was not charged in error, it was earned premium charged as the policy was cancelled the day after renewal.

      I called for a tow while I was visiting **********. no tow company ever showed up for three days. I kept being told that someone was on the way and that I had to stay with the vehicle. I was forced to stay with the car unoperable for 3 days. I ended up paying a guy $400 to tow the car. I demand reimbursement for that and also for my time for 3 days of waiting.

      We are sorry to hear about your experience in **********. Unfortunately, you have reached the Colorado AAA. We are broken up by territories, so you would have to contact the California BBB for AAA and file your complaint. You can also go online and print off an ERS Reimbursement Form, and submit that with your receipt to your home club (the state you live and have your membership in).

I was only visiting **********. california told me to contact Colorado. this issue has been ongoing and is completely unacceptable. I should not have to go online for reimbursement. that just gives you an opportunity to deny it.

      June 22nd, I called AAA as a member, because I locked my keys in my car. A person showed up in a AAA vehicle to pop the lock. He went to my drivers sidem tried to use a neo coloroed ***** tool that didn't work. He then took out a flat inflatable tool and with in seconds he was holding the handle of my car that popped off. My car was damaged and the only way I could i could get into my car was to crawl across from the passager side. I immediately called AAA to file a complaint and get it repaired. The next day another tech who came to replace my key- yelled at me because AAA blamed him, which I didn't even mention him when I called. Because they blamed the 2nd guy who had nothing to do with the damage, my case was delayed. 3 weeks later the drivers side wouldn't open. I am on one month and it is not repaired. I told them I had shoulder surgery and crawling across to get out of my car can damage my arm. It didn't matter. They outsource all of they're techs, even though the truck was a AAA truck, they are not connected to AAA.

      When we came out to inspect the vehicle, it was found that your door is stuck closed because your inner linkage door mechanism is broken, nothing AAA did.

      I have a credit card account through AAA ********************** advantage. In March they ran a promotion stating that if you spent $500 between 3/22/24 and 5/5/24, that you would receive $25 cash back. I spent approximately $900 and still never received the $25 cash back. In early June, I called to remind them about receiving the credit and they told me that it was coming with the next billing cycle and that to ensure me that it was coming, they put in a reward dispute. In July, the credit still wasn't on my account and the dispute letter said that that I'm not due a credit. I want my $25 cash back on my credit card account.

      We see that you are an OH resident, so your membership would be in the **** territory. You will need to file your complaint with the correct AAA, our territory doesn't handle OH members.

      I am a AAA member so that I can receive towing service, if ever needed, along with other services. Without my consent, AAA added my 9-year-old daughter to my invoice at an additional cost of $37, which is both absurd (she is age 9 old) and dishonest (I did not ask her to be added). Luckily I detected this unethical/fraudulent billing practice. I called AAA to remove her and wasted my time on hold to remove her as there was no option to simply remove her online.

      I see you are a CA member, but you have submitted your complaint with CO. While AAA is worldwide, it's broken up into territories and Colorado can't assist with California. You will need to file a BBB complaint with California AAA.

      Been a member since 2013. Last week I had a flat tire. Called AAA at 6:03 pm asking for help. Said truck would arrive at 6:45pm. At 6:30pm, got a text that service call had been CANCELLED. I did not cancel request - I called AAA 3 additional times asking for help. Was told a new service call was placed and I would receive a text with arrival time. no one EVER showed up. I finally got help from strangers in the area and got home safely. AAA never called me - never established a new arrival time - never ever sent anyone to assist. I could be dead on the road and I'd still be laying there. This is NOT what i pay for with my membership. So very disappointed. You have AAA for emergencies and this is unacceptable.

      Was lied to regarding my coverage by a AAA agent. Was lied to and told that I was fully covered for locksmith services and that they would also reimburse up to $50.00 for a new key. I am now stuck with $200.00 in locksmith services because they say I have only a "Basic" membership and they will only give me $50.00. Had I been told the truth I would have NEVER spent money on a locksmith and I would have just broken the window which only costs $65.00 to replace. I would like to have the money back that I spent on this membership. I'll just eat the locksmith charges as I don't want to even deal with this company ever again.

      Several months ago, we began experiencing a drained battery (mind you, we have had this car since 2018 and prior to purchasing a battery for the car last year from AAA, had not had any other issues). Over the last two months, our car has persistently had a dead battery. We kept calling AAA to come and give us a jump however, the last time we called someone, we were told that there was a lawsuit against ****** and we should take it there to get it looked at to see if it was an issue that ****** needed to cover. $200 later, we have documentation from ****** stating that it is not related to the issues within the class action that the battery itself is the problem. We brought the vehicle home (after having to have ****** give us yet another jump start) and called AAA. We were certain that since the battery was within the warranty period, that AAA would simply take care of us to get us back on the road. We had after all, paid AAA for a battery with a THREE year warranty. We waited yet again for a technician to arrive only to tell us that there is nothing that he can do for us. He does not have the battery, cannot replace the battery, yada yada ya but, in the end, we again were stuck with a dead vehicle. The technician gave us your email and suggested that you be contacted as the battery representative. We need to get back on the road. We trusted AAA to install a battery and felt safe with a warranty that was THREE years long. We should not have to come out of pocket for additional expenses as our battery is within the warranty period. Can you please help us?
