      I went to get a trim only. Around my ears and neck . I specified to the barber Im growing my hair out. And do not cut it to short. I was able to slick my hair on top and side back , well not anymore.. they butchered my hair leaving dense chopping lines and not even a proper blend.. I had a hair transplant and Ive been growing it out for 5 month for a tv photoshoot and competition Im in . I spent a lot time patientce and money because I was creating a specific look for it. . I had no other option but to shave my head and start all over because of the very poor terrible job that was done. and now have lost money and a lot of time in the process. I have body dymorphic disorder and to me it was devastating causing some anxiety and much frustration. It was also done on my birthday. I paid ***** and was refunded for the hair cut BUT IM SEEKING Only compensation / reimbursement for the shave I had to get which was $55.00 . I think thats a very fair amount considering the circumstances and the business isnt willing to help. Also the barber just sprayed her tools while they were still hanging up which most professional barbers take them off and spray them away from the client. So I would be curious if safety rules were not followed by guidelines.

      Hello! Thank you for reaching out.

      ******** initially connected with us over the phone in early May, I believe on 05/08/2024. He detailed he was butchered at our shop, was unsatisfied with the service, and requested compensation for his suffering. The client had already been refunded, as of 05/07/2024.
      I let the client know that I was unable to confirm if this is something we offer, but we would appreciate the chance to address this with our staff and explore options to make things right.

      After sending the client a follow-up email, he provided me with the correspondence hed shared with our shop directly, as well as photos of the haircut. I replied letting the client know we would get back soon with an update, in which ******** requested $400.00 in compensation. This correspondence took place between 05/08/2024 and 05/09/2024.

      ******** called me back directly, and on 05/14/2024, we let the client know we were unable to provide financial compensation for haircuts.The client then requested $55.00 for reimbursement of a haircut he had gotten to fix what was done at our shop. I let ******** know that this is likely not something our team could provide, but we would be happy to investigate this inquiry if he could provide a valid receipt. ******** provided a screenshot of Venmo, and I let the client know again that we are unable to provide financial compensation, but we would be happy to provide product to help aide in the styling of his hair as it regrows, and our Actiiv line.

      ******** let us know he would be contacting his lawyer.Because of this, we stopped communication with the client.
      ******** continued to reach out to us, refuted his claim of seeking out legal counsel, and stated he would open a claim with the BBB, and stated he would not rest until his very simple request was met.
      If I could provide specific examples of email correspondence,please let me know.
      Our formal response is that we do not provide financial compensation for concerns.

      I am rejecting this response because:
       Yes it was butchered because the person who cut my Hair  you can see the horrible hair  cut and I wanna at least get reimbursed ***** for having to shave my head and start all over. 

       

      I was ******  and Im sure anyone would be So maybe asking for $400 or getting a lawyer involved was a bit extreme but  ,the reason why was 

      I was going for a  specific look for an audition for a well know reality tv show . I spent a lot of time an money preparing for it . Especially growing my hair out  from a hair transplant  Thats where the frustration came from. I waited 6 months  Every hair mattered. I was able to slick it back  . After the haircut at Floyds, it looks like a porcupine needles sticking out .  Now the whole character  I was creating was gone, and *** already filmed the audition with the long hair .I provided screen shots of the barber shops prices and a text exchange with the barber to show I went there. If future action is necessary, I can also provide statements from the Barber explaining In great detail, how The haircut was not done correctly

       

       

       They did offer me some free product, but I said to them just reimburse me for having to shave my head Which I think the product and shipping and tax alone would equal out to about $50 for them. So whats the difference? Its a matter of principal.  I said and no further action would be on my part. If I was reimbursed for shaving my head.
