CorVel is a third party medical intermediary insurance company designed to manage the ********* compensation money for the ******************* of *************** They denied culpibiliy for claims on a CDOT employee for ***** days on services rendered including post operative care on a left shoulder arthroscopy. It is now. ***** days without payment rendered.CorVel is now failing to respond to phone calls or emails. I am requesting BBB assistance in reestablishing lines of communication as well as supervising appropiate business practices for submitting payment including interest and penalties. This company should NOT be in business. They are biased and took the sides of their clients without any proof but then denied our claim stating heresay and that we had no proof. ******* definitely was not helpful and refused to move forward with our request for a lie detector test. I will be continue to fight this issue until we get the outcome we deserve. Shame on you Corvel.I would like to be contacted by someone over ******* as I feel that he was being biased and didn't even sound like he was interested in processing our claim. I am very appalled that companies can process a claim with no evidence but say that we provided heresay. I am requesting all documentation that was provided by the client. ***************************** ********** Is not taking my case seriously and has no urgency for me to be well mentally and physically after a work place accident through the employer computershare ***. I have left him three messages to get off his white entitled a$$ and I have to take sleeping pills to mask my physical pain. My arm is broken, my head is hurting, my ankle is twisted, my arm socket has been dislocated, I am in misery because of the incompetency of this claim adjuster and CORVEL. He is crazy. I want my life back back to before the work injury on 11/17/22.I cannot afford a doctor until he grants me the right to do so. I have been so depressed for months now. They have missed the ***************** deadline for responding to this claim. They dont care about a persons well being and remedy it.Initial Complaint

I was hit by a semi truck driver driving a truck for *********************** **** on March 17,2022. I have repeatedly tried to contact ***************************** from CorVel Corporation-this is the risk management company handling my claim, as she is the claims specialist assigned to my claim. I hired a BBB accredited appraiser (********) who drafted a formal Diminished Value Claim and sent it to ******* on July 28th, 2022. It is now September 8th, 2022. I followed up on August 1, 2022 and received a response from ******* stating that a review will be complete and she will get back to me. I had still not heard anything, so I followed up again on August 16, 2022. I followed up today on September 8th, 2022 as well and ******* has still not responded. Not to mention when my car was fully repaired, the auto body shop could not release the car to me until they received payment. ******* had not responded to any requests and CorVel Corporation had not sent any payment to the body shop until my car sat there for weeks. The body shop had also reached out to her. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to contact her or her alternate contact. I have called and emailed several times. This seems to be a common theme with this company, as my mother has also had similar problem with them on a separate claim. I currently have a ********* comp claim for Hypertension with Corvel Corporation under the Virginia Heart and Lung act. My claim was approved in 2006. I was in the hospital from approximately June 4-8 for having a critical low sodium count. After a few days the Doctors discovered that the cause of the low sodium was in fact due to the current hypertension medication I was on and prescribed by a Doctor approved by Corval. My sodium approved after the medication was discontinued. Ultimately I was discharged after a few more days and followed up my Doctor. The hospital billed Corval because my Diagnosis was associated to the medication. The claim was denied and I have been trying to contact Corval for weeks but no one returns my calls including my claims representative ******************* *************) and her supervisors *********************************** and ************************* *************) I have tried patiently to resolve this issue. The resolution I seek is to have this claim resolved.My Physician is *********** *************)
