This is a specialty pharmacy that delivers my Stelera medication which I used for my Crohn's Desease. They rarely get back to me when they say they will and do not update me if there any issue with delivering my medication. They are very hard to reach and have long wait/hold times. They are also unhelpful when trying to resolve insurance issues and reaching out to the doctor's office. Recently, I was requested that they send my medication one week before my injection was due. They said everything was fine and they would send it. There was an insurance issue and they did not care to inform me that there was an issue (The previous prior authorization from the insurance was no longer valid. They needed a new one, which takes time). I had to call them repeatedly to finally get that information from them. This delayed the medication. I still haven't received it and it is now almost two weeks late. When the insurance finally got the prior authorization to the MD's office, the MD's office forwarded it to the pharmacy. Now they are saying they are not being able to bill it. Before that they said this prior authorization is not working. Now they are saying they check with their intake department. This is very frustrating and has happened many times before over the years. I am very disappointed in the service they provide. I rely on the medication to keep my condition under control and this is always in jeopardy because they are so unreliable. Unfortunately they are the pharmacy I have to use as far as I know because they are contracted with my insurance.Initial Complaint

date of transaction 7/24/2023, Amerita had referred me to a medical collection agency, for past dated medical bill for infusion services, so I paid the collection agency HCI on 7/24/2023, and later found out that Amerita had already been paid for this by my insurance provider United Healthcare. The reference from United Healthcare is no ********, they confirmed that they paid the contract rate for this claim. This company Amerita owes me ********, and has refused to refund me, has well has referring me to collections for a bill they have been paid for, this is fraud medical billing.Business response

I had to do infusions every day at home for 6 weeks and Amerita refused to file this with ******** by claiming that they knew that ******** would not pay it. Consequently, we have been making monthly payments through auto deduction of $287.16 except for the last bill (attached) for $201.89; however, they did a deduction from our account for the final amount of $251.16 (in attachment).Monday, January 29th, I talked to a rep named ******** at ************ who said she would look into this and contact me on Thursday, February 1 at 8:00 a.m. She never called, so I have left numerous messages for her but she does not return calls. I have also called the following numbers and left messages: ************ and ************, but no one answers the phone.Business response
