      I had my storage since the spring of 2017 and I never miss a payment and never was late.December 2023 I was not able to pay my storage due to financial issues. Prior to me not paying my bill December I have made payments at another iStorage that's located on ********** ********** **** and that was in the month of October and November. When going to make my payments at these other storage I asked what was going on and they didn't know what was going on their answer to me was,"it's always something going on at that storage"however I receive a phone call on Tuesday January 9th **** from the new manager at istorage stating that my storage is ************************************************************************** being behind and I explained to her my situation and also ask her could she wave the lean and I will pay my storages in the late fees for December and January she went on to let me know that she cannot do that and also that's not her problem and when I explained to her this is my first time knowing that they were under ************** and back open because in the prior months October and November they were under investigation and I had no acknowledgment of what's going on and neither did anyone else at the other storages and then she proceeded to say that she's cleaning up the mess that the old manager made. I asked her is there a way she could check my record to see that I never been late I never had an issue with paying but she wasn't concerned about that and I also went on to explain why haven't I received anything in the mail stating that they were under ************** ,a phone call or that they were open this was the first phone call I had regarding new management and opening because I just went up there on January 8th **** and they were closed. I also was made aware that my belongings will be auctioned off by the 13th of February if I don't make a payment of $545.16 which I do not have.

      If you are renting a unit at this place, CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS!!! They are adding amounts to the payments without notice. Their records are missing payments and are not up to date. They have added fees in the past, and recognized that they were wrong (IT IS AGAINST THE *** TO CHANGE A CONTRACT WITHOUT NOTICE OR AGREEMENT). As shown my payments are $144mo. I have homeowners insurance that was on file when I first rented with them back in 2018. I did not have to submit another copy. Now my signed contract and my insurance documents are missing from their records. From what they have shown me, they only have the contract from when I switched it to my daughter, then later switched back after my daughter moved into her apartment. I have questioned this place periodically due to the issues. They did the same thing to when my daughter had the unit, overcharging her. They resolved the issue. Now, here they are again. As shown they are charging me $176... where did this come from... I was told insurance. Insurance is shown as $12... but they have the rental amount as $164... I was told that the location has nothing to do with it, that it is corporate that is making the changes. Ok, well WHY IS CORPORATE MAKING CHANGES, CHARGING CUSTOMERS UNINFORMED FEES AND INCREASES ON THE RENTAL? There is no full payment history shown. It is like some unprofessional company, ripping people off and running undercover scams!!! THEY NEED TO EXPLAIN THIS!!! BUT THEY CAN'T!!! && THEY DO NOT TAKE CASH PAYMENTS!!! SO HOW IS IT SHOWING THAT A CASH PAYMENT WAS MADE!!! THEY ARE RIPPING ME OFF!!! RIDICULOUS!!!

      This dispute is with iStorage. I notified them that I was moving out of my storage unit in March of 2023. I had paid in advance until ***** and was told that I could receive a refund for ***** if I moved out before then. I moved out on March 9th and requested a refund. The refund check was incorrectly sent to another address in ************* and I was not aware of it until I contacted their customer service again. I have attempted to contact them 3 times now and each time a representative says that a an area manager will contact me in 72 hours but they never do. It has been several months since I was promised this refund. Ridiculous because if I owed them money they would've had my account go into default/foreclosure. My phone number is ************.       After numerous attempts to pay my balance reset password and contact someone. This is a on going on and off problem. I cant do nothing to the website everything is broken and frizzing. Its says a link sent for password yet the link hasnt came yet.
