Date of Transaction: September 1, 2023 project started The amount of money paid to the business: $4,348.03 (Labor and materials)What the business committed to provide: The business was to tear down and rebuild a small deck that had rotten support beams. What is the nature of dispute:1.***** and aggressive, reactions to my posted review on after Thumbtack. Business had not returned to fix visible poor work.2.Poor workmanship on deck replacement and repair. Deck floor not to standard, stairs not to code.Visible rotten support beam was put back on and painted. Very poor workmanship on the deck railing, railing cap, and stairs. **************** was dishonest during the project and after construction.He was incorrect that ********** did not have the composite in larger boards or hidden fastener ready. His response was was deceptive.The proper composite screws were not used. The deck required longer boards and the correct structure.**************** placed the composite boards that he removed from the deck floor because he did not measure correctly and used these boards on the railing cap and stairs He painted over rotten boards and put them back on.There are old boards and discarded trash left under the deck left by *******Whether of not the business has tried to resolve the problem.No. I sent a text to ****** on 09-05-2023 with pictures that I had concerns about the deck railing. T I have been communicating through emails to the Thumbtack Trust and Safety team for over 3 months. I do have extensive documentation and photos sent to Thumbtack. The week of December 4, 2023, Thumbtack removed the company from there website. The only solution is to rebuild the deck by another company. **************** has refused to resolve the problem.Extreme concerns about ***************************** anger, and aggressive behavior after my review was posted started my dispute communication with ThumbTack. He is unprofessional in dealing with corrections and dishonest in my opinion. HOA paid % of total.
