i took my 5-year-old last night to the cookie cutters in ****** *******. this is a good place to take a boy that is a straightforward cut, but do not take a child that has curly or mixed hair to this place. i called ahead of time to ask if they were skilled in cutting curly hair doing my homework, they resured me yes they were, this was not the case at all... the women did not know how to handle curly hair ripping at my daughters hair to section it off. 5 times my daughter said you are hurting me for the women not to stop or slow down a little, it was like she was in a rush to go nowhere watching this was painful and then she asked me to brush my daughter's hair. i was thankful for this. That should of been my second red flag. i then asked for only half an inch off, the women took it upon herself to cut 3 and half inches off my daughters hair. to say i was shocked is an understatement. my daughters hair was half way down her back and now sits at her ears. i was speechless. to take it upon yourself to cut this much off a kids hair during the winter months is shocking. once finished my daughter said to me why was she so nice and gentle to the younger kid and not me. for a kid to point that out is sad.this woman was in a rush and wanted the job done. she was not busy or did she have anyone after me. she should not of taken my daughter on if she did not feel comfortable wiht curly hair. now i am stuck with hair i cannot put up and have to wait for it to grow out over winter months. i am so disappointed and will never go back. i guess why i am so mad is the fact i called to ask if they were skilled for them to tell me yes i would of been nice to be honest so i could of found someone that can do a nice job. the place is nice for young kids to play on the playground and the different cars they have for the kids to sit on are neat. but do not expect a good cut
