agree with other reviews. unable to leave zero star review.have meineke lifetime warranty on mufflers. mufflers rusted out. shop (had used many years ago - for same problem (rustout). at that time was charged 2.0 hrs labor. actual time to do less than 1.0 hr.made appt with shop brought to for replacement (approx 30 miles) said would replace under warranty, however mufflers not in stock (are a standard universal type muffler), cost to be 2.0 hrs @ $125. per hr, total $250.got call next day had mufflers now. made appt for actual work.arrived early for appt. vehicle on lift. waited for approx 30 min for tech to arrive/start. tech attempted to remove old mufflers, all sawsall blades dull/worn out, shouls have taken no more than 5 min per pipe X 4 pipes to remove old, 20 min total. actually took about an hour due to poor equipment.at that point tech made some sort of adapter to go from existing pipes to rear of new muffler. this would normally be what is referred to as a "sleeve" (a part that adapts pipe to muffler) if this was done correctly lineup of the self supported tailpipes would be accomplished. the mufflers would need to be supported by a pole ****, while the same process was done to the front of the mufflers. the system would now be self supporting and the mufflers would merely need to be clocked correctly, welded correctly & new rear support welded to pipe exiting the muffler. quick, simple job. probably less than an hour total.what the tech did was make some sort of adapter to go from my existing front pipe to the muffler. at that point it was tack welded to the inlet of the muffler. the entire rear section (tailpipes) were now removed from the vehicle and another adapter made and tack welded in. the welding was not going well, the gas cylinder was empty. took another 30 min to change out. sort of welded in (welds appear too cold) and a series of tacks brought together instead of a continuous weld. will try to continue separate
